I just give the engine more breathing room to stabilize it self before adding a load. While there is a few second delay for explo
for aircon to turn on when it's left at ON position, i feel it's too short specially coming a long rest were temp is at ambient. .

My driver side wiper blade has a premature wear. The edge of the blade is already slightly ripped off. I'll be changing the blades this weekend.

I wonder if the Bosch Aerotwin has multi-adapters to fit the EX.

O/T having said this, I do miss the torque of TURBO cars (gas or diesel it doesnt matter) when I drive this car. In anycase, I didnt buy it for speed... but for cruising which it is awesome at. Maybe when the Ecoboost v6 comes in to our shores will I get envious hehe.
Even in Sand Mode, the V6 doesn't have the same low down punch.

But once you get up to highway speed, the 2.0 feels pretty asthmatic compared to the V6.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

So I experienced a bug/glitch on my MFT today. When i plugged in my IPOD gen 2 30GB, SYNC kept on indexing and won't allow me to browse like before. When i unplugged the IPOD, SYNC still registers my IPOD. After turning on and off the system, it still registered my IPOD. So i did the master reset and it didnt register my IPOD anymore.

I plugged in my IPOD again and i was able to browse playlist etc. However, I encountered for the first time: most of the music played sounded choppy while some played fine. All music sounded ok when played using earphones and on my laptop. Anyone else experienced this?

I'm still running on version MFT Sync Genv2 3.0.2. *sigh* wont be using my ipod anymore. Ill just plug my wife's ipod nano. outdated na ata yung akin.

I'm using 36psi NITRO. Not sure how it's being set but my wild guess is somewhere 15psi it will alarm.

So binaybay ko ang buong stretch ng BANAWE this past Saturday to check the availability of wiper replacement for our EX. Unfortunately, WALA! Iisa lang ang meron pero ang MAHAL ke ROADSTAR. PIAA Super Silicone * P4,800 per set. Tama ang isa sa sukat pero sala sa passenger side.

Masyado pang brand new ang model natin. Even sa kasa wala pa silang idea kung magkano. I asked for the warranty claim since it is a premature wear at 2200 kms pa lang.

In the meantime, I will be ordering from the US na lang muna.

Accessory update: I bought the OEM Window VENT/Deflector sa FORD EDSA for P5,500. I will install next week and post some pics.

Wow meron na palang window deflector. Last time I checked in Ford Global (one month ago), it's P6,000 but i-o-order pa daw from US kasi wala pang stock ang Ford Phil. I guess meron na silang local stock ngayon. Tatawag nga ako bukas, matagal ko nang inaantay yan. Thanks for the update dragonexplorer

You're welcome. By the way, look for Kristine or Jeff. Give them this part number for faster reference: BB5Z-18246-A. Their price is P5,850.00 before discount. It's less 5% then I said bawas pa para P5,500.00 na lang.

Approved ang warranty claim for the premature wear/tear ng driver side wiper. :jump2:

Kaya lang I've already ordered BOSCH ICON OE from the States. I guess meron na rin akong replacement for next year.

    Ford Global texted me today.

"Blah blah blah (medyo mahaba yung greetings LOL)... Our dealer has been authorized to inspect the operation of the engine cooling fan of your vehicle and replace them if necessary. In addition, we will reprogram your vehicle's Powertrain Control Module to prevent contamination from accumulating in the future. Blah blah blah..."

Ano ba yung last part? Prevent contamination from what and what accumulation in the future? Di ko pa sila natawagan coz I'm still fixing my schedule. Medyo busy lately. Hindi ko pa rin napapa-upgrade yung MFT. So sa punta ko, sabay sabay na lahat para isang lakaran na lang.

    Pulled this information from www.explorerforum,com:

What is the issue? On your vehicle, contamination can build up on the internal electrical contacts of the engine cooling fan motors, causing the fans to be inoperative. Inoperative engine cooling fans could lead to high engine temperature gauge readings and reduced air conditioning performance. Continued operation of the vehicle could result in illumination of the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) and eventually cause the engine to automatically enter derate (reduced power) mode.

What will Ford and your dealer do? In the interest of customer satisfaction, FMC has authorized your dealer to inspect the operation of the engine cooling fans on your vehicle and replace them if necessary. In addition, your dealer will reprogram your vehicle's PCM to prevent contamination from accumulating in the future.

    Thanks for the post dragonexplorer

Umilaw yung TPMS ng Explo ko today. So far wala naman akong nakitang pako and matigas pa naman yung gulong. So went to Shell for air, found out that the 28 psi na lang ang laman ng mga gulong. Kaya siguro umilaw yung TPMS. On the side of the door, it says 35 psi for front & rear... minimum psi ba yan or maximum? Also, I remember nagpahangin naman ako a few months ago so bakit nabawasan yung hangin? Ganyan ba talaga may sumisingaw na hangin kahit walang butas?

recheck tire pressure after a week. if Psi goes down again, have your tires vulcanized.

3ple4 - That is normal if you use compressed air which you found in gas station. In my explo i change it with Nitrogen. The one your seeing on the side of the door is the recommended pressure. I put 36psi in all tires. Better maintain tire pressure as it helps in fuel efficiency.

Oh good, akala ko may butas yung 4 na gulong kasi lahat pareho yung psi when I had it re-inflated (28 psi na lang). Useful talaga ng tpms, I wouldn't have thought na konti na lang pala yung hangin kasi pag titignan mo, di naman mukhang flat and when I pressed the tire, matigas naman.

Where can I get nitrogen? Isa pa lang nakita ko nag-offer ng nitrogen... in Honda Otis. I think you need to remove the all 4 wheels, right? Para ma-deflate yung compressed air before filling it up with nitrogen?

Some big tire shops do offer nitro refilling. Gomags in Evangelista & Brigestone do offer such. Ako sa Bridgestone nagpapalit ng nitro.
They will just lift the tire & open the air valve to release air. Tapos nun, kakargahan na ng nitro. No need to remove tires. Cost less than
500 pesos for all 4 tires na.

Sa Bridgetone, libre refill after your first payment.
