also, when you have your phone connected and at the same time you have an ipod plugged via USB can you control bout via MFT?
    thanks.
Like you, I also overfill our xtrail from time to time. Pero it states clearly in the EX's manual na DO NOT OVERFILL. Naka design lang cya sa auto shut-off.

As for the USB connections, I would read the manual carefully and check. MFT is not designed perfectly. It operates like a PC so it may crash on you if overloaded with peripherals. Better to check manual again...

So after washing our EX, I noticed the LEFT Front Fender Wheel Opening Moulding attached closer to the front bumper where you can see the sensor was loose. I checked the fastener and was still in tact but it just won't snap back in anymore. Good thing me tao ako sa fabrication shop namin na mahusay sa mga repair and adjustments. He fabricated a fastener clip from a soda can para maging masikip. Voila! Ok na ulit!

Anyway, I guess this is just one of what's to be expected sa mga plastic moulding. The clip probably contracted or shrank kaya hindi na cya mag snap back on.

    2. Babayaran mo ang insurance (instant 100 grand, at kailangan in house pa)

Ganun parin ba kahirap makakuha?

Ok lang sagad, basta huwag lang garahe agad. At least maitakbo mo pa ng a couple of 10's of Km before igarahe.

Pero kung "sagad" then garahe lalo na during daytime, wala na space for expansion yung fuel at dun na magkakaroon ng leak somewhere else.

Mapapababa pa yan to 75k-85k. And mind you, Autohub Group's in house insurance has 0% participation fee.

The super dark shade of V-Kool OEM series has 78% heat rejection.

I think same owner lang Ford Manila & Global. What i did is tinapatan nila ang sarili kong
insurance which boils down to 60K if my memory serve's me right. Yung tint is not mandatory, pinipilit kang nila kasi mahal ang V-kool & they
are exclusive distributor nito. You can check with other Ford dealership which don't belong to the Autohub group like Alabang.

Ford Global (in BGC) and Ford Manila are under the Autohub Group.

I got my V-Kool tint for free because I got the most basic one.

Hindi naman sa kuripot pero I'm expecting some freebies from a 2.6M SUV. Only paid for special plates. Ibang klase.

Basta Autohub Group of Companies ganyan ka garapal when it comes to selling or servicing cars be it Ford, Hyundai, or Nissan. But to be fair with Autohub, halos lahat ng dealers are taking advantage of the shortage ng Explorer and Ranger. Ako I waited patiently and it turned out to be better - I got the 2013 model na kahit higher price kasi with more goodies. I went with my own bank financing and insurance. The purchase also came with Free 3M Tint and OEM Floor Mats (Actually, talagang me kasamang floor mats ang 2013 EX Limited models). I still had to shell out for LTO registration, which would have been the same I had gone with the Toyota Prado Gas din naman.

Kung ako sa iyo, I would patiently wait na lang. Sa totoo lang, hindi pa rin maresolve ng FORD ang ilang mga issues especially the "SMELL DURING HARD ACCELERATION". There's a number of US FORD Owners na nagbenta o ngfile na ng kaso regarding that issue.

    That's just my two cents...

Maraming hihinging bayad from the buyer para lang maprioritized sila, just to maximized their profits. Pero pag low demand and high supply, maraming freebies binibigay and flexible financing options like 0% interest para lang makapagentice ng buyers.

Yeap, weathertechs are nice! Kaya lang ang mahal! Meron kang kilala na supplier or did you order from the US directly?

You can buy locally sa Mother's Santolan. It is expensive, I have it in my Forester. I suggest getting those generic ones which are soft rubber but still a pan design sa SM. There are a lot of designs which are decent. It should cost you a measly 1500 to 1700, front and back. Weather tech are great as they are snug and fit like a glove, but really expensive.

Yup! I bought it in their Philippines authorize dealer. Mother's in Santolan. I can't remember the exact price but the full package including cargo tray is around 24K... not sure but over 20k.

Yeah spynz, we bought it around the same time so it was around 24K for the complete package.

Nagdi-distribute din ng WeatherTech floor mats ang Blade which I guess they got them from Hart Int'l (Mother's in Santolan) as well.

My friend got those generic floor mats in Ace Hardware, 1st & 2nd row only. Exact fit daw but he forgot the brand. Price was around 2K.

    TO 2011-2013 EXPLORER OWNERS:

I called FGP today to complain about the "SMELL DURING HARD ACCELERATION" although I have already advised my dealership about it.

I have also complained about how slow FGP is in terms of updating the My Ford Touch (MFT). I'm currently running the Sync VersionGen2 v.3.0.2. There are two updates out already: v3.2.2 and v3.5.1. The two updates are supposed to fix the bugs and improve the overall performance of the MFT. So far, madalas mag hang ang MFT ko when an IPOD is plugged. Ang tagal din mag INDEX ng MFT.

IF YOU ALL DON'T MIND, THEN PLEASE CALL 1-800-10-736-3673 (Free of Charge) to complain about the SMELL and the MFT Update. The more calls they received then the more they will be inclined/forced to repair the SMELL and to update our MFT.

In the meantime, I will update you all once FGP calls me again. Doubtful they will have a straight answer but I'm *crossing fingers*
