Guys, how do you operate your Explorer's aircon? Kasi ang alam ko you don't have to switch off the aircon when turning off the engine parang noong dinemo ko. But I always do it the traditional way, switch off aircon then turn off engine and vice versa. Ang naiinis lang ako is... whenever I switch on the A/C, palaging naka-off yung air recirculation button (yan ba tawag dun), ang hassle kasi I have to push that button to turn it on. Tsaka yung temperature, palaging naka-auto mode. Hindi ba pwede kung ano yung last setting mo, e yan din yung same setting in the future?
In general, ang nakagawian ko is to shut-off the aircon compressor about 500mtrs from my final point of destination & just let the blower run. Then before shutting of the engine, i will turn off the blower. For explo, i just switch off the ac then off-the engine. So when i turn on again the engine, only the blower will auto start to run, then after engine sa stabilize, will i turn on the AC, followed by the internal circulation, then dual switch on, in that order.
just leave the a/c on when you turn off the engine para pag on ganon pa din ang setting. btw sino na nag pa projector dito kay garyq?

Baka pwede na bumili ng mags dyan pang palit sa Explo. Maganda ba mga mags na binebenta nila?
fellow owners, para saan ulit yung red light on top of the dash? pansin ko madalas sya mag light pag naka manual mode ako sa tranny...
can you take pictures of it, don't really know what exactly it is you're talking about.
i bought mine through their in-house scheme but that's fine with me because if look at it, the patrol and land cruiser is priced at 4-5M but the explorer is much better than both those cars in my opinion. my only regret is i didn't wait for the new explorer which is packed with more features i don't care if it's more expensive i just want the extra features the new ones offer. i'm very satisfied with the current one.i usually sell my car every 3 years and buy a new one but for this one i plan to keep longer.
I got mine Dec 2011. I'm satisfied with my unit and no complaints so far!
I don't know if this is a complaint but I wish FGP could have also imported the base model or XLT, I don't really need the power liftgate & power seats (manual will do) because I think in the long run, masisira din mga yan or maybe I'm just being too paranoid? Hehehe
*TRUP: Maybe this will help.... read the bottom part...

3ple4, there's already a XLT variant of the Explorer here, the 2.0 Ecoboost 4x2. Yun nga lang, 2.0 Ecoboost ang makina and it also has a power liftgate, but no power 3rd row seats, no high tech features of the 2013 Explorer V6 Limited, no Sony Audio system, and no push start engine ignition button with smart key.
I was referring to the XLT version na V6.
[QUOTE=trup;2005365]its the row of red lights near the windshield driver side, it lights up on starting and when it light, its usually accompanied with a beep. will try to post a pic tomorrow, BTW our is the 2013
Does the 2013 model comes already with working GPS?
