*3ple4, sorry for late reply, units ko nasa casa now, the lift gate were replaced, glove box sound are fixed, the only problem is noice sound from A-pillar, di pa nila maayos, naka safe keeping now yun unit sa casa, waiting for possible solution if kailangan mag change ng parts dun sa A-pillar.

ayaw palitan ng ford yun unit with the new ones, dahil di daw concern regarding with safety of the car di daw papalitan ng kundi ayusin

Habang hinihintay yun A-pillar part,kinuha ko muna unit kanina, after 1000km pms,napansin ko the screen FC range fr 24-35L/100km,before is about 17-18L/100km,is it normal?d b dapat mas matipid after na 1000 pms?

Sa tingin ko kasi mahaba talaga ang pila ng Explorer kaya ayaw ka nila bigyan ng replacement unit. Also check with U.S. forums kung pinalitan ba ng bagong unit yung mga may problema sa A-Pillar noise. Isipin mo na lang na 2 out 3 problem, naayos na, 1 to go Di ba pwede na iuwi mo muna yung Explorer mo until they find the solution to the A-Pillar noise problem? Someone posted in the previous pages about step by step instruction of possible remedy for A-Pillar noise. Maybe you can print it out and give it to the technician

Ford Philippines informed us that the GPS Navigation System is disabled. But when i checked yesterday, the GPS is working using the Where Am I feature in the "Help" Menu. Anybody here who have ugraded the Navigation Apps from syncmyride.com. How about the missing Sync Services Menu?

May GPS yung Explorer natin? I think I tried that Where Am I feature but didn't work.

*apple5: Usually 22-24 lit/100 km yung akin. Never went below 20. Curious lang ako, anong klaseng sound yung A-Pillar noise?

*3ple4 before 1000km pms was range about 17-19L/100km, well baka may na-adjust dun sa 1k PMS, sana its normal, by the way the if you push the A-pillar(black glossy plastic outside the a-pillar) dun mo maririnig yun sound, sound like plastic tumatama sa windshield di ko ma describe,if naka off yun sound system, maririnig mo, minsan malakas, minsan mahina, always there,

Actually may chance ako na i-return yun unit, kc by that time na we discover the deffect, pina hold namin yun bank payment proceed to dealer, until today the bank are still waiting for my decision if i-return yun unit. or proceed with payment to the dealer and repair the unit.

Its hard to decide, if I return the unit and order the new one,there are no available stocks right now! but if I get this unit,then in the future di makaproblema pabalik-balik ako for repair, sakit din ng ulo then di ko na maibalik yun unit.

bro, just like what 3ple4 mentioned, just do back reading as someone posted a procedure on how to fix
this A-pillar problem. Print it out and ask the dealer to do as per instruction/procedure.

I just tried it again with the explorer on the move, and indeed the long and lat coordinates changed. That only means that the limited explorer has a gps receiver installed. I want some help to anybodywho knows how to install an application for the navigation

Yup, only the latitude & longtitude are indicated. Di ko din maintindihan yung nakasulat sa manual but I googled and here's the link....

Thank You for the info. I was able to read some discussions in the Ford US Forums, that even if the Ford Navigation System is SD Card based, it still has to be configured in the factory for it to work. That's why its an option and you have to pay $700 dollars for it. As of the moment nobody, even the dealers from the states, have tweaked the system. Hopefully somebody from here can. Anybody Help !!!!

Got this in today news........."In particular, Ford will launch the All-New Ranger at the upcoming Manila International Auto Show, along with the All-New Explorer 2.0L GTDi, the first vehicle Ford will introduce to the market featuring its innovative EcoBoost engine technology."

The bad news is only 20% lang daw ng orders will be able to be supplied for Explo by end of this month as against previous commit of 100% completion. Seem's like either Ford US is still having a hard time fixing their issues or the demand is really way too hogh for supply to catch up.

Hmm... when I got my unit, meron ng rpm indicator (left menu ng dashboard - under Display).

Vertical rpm meter ang nadagdag sa bagong upgrade,then bagong interface for the screen,pwedi m pa upgrade sa next pms mo with ford global
