If you plan to get the explorer limited goodluck getting one this year. 200+ people are still in line. Spoke to their manager today and told me that incase i have one reserved now the earliest i could get my unit is next year.

genesischain, i just got my unit today from global. actually for my case, nagpalit na ng mga agents & managers from the time i reserved in november until i got my unit today. When i resereved it, i had a lady SA & SM. Now the SA has been promoted and moved to other branch while the SM has moved to Toyota. The replacement guys were good as well and has been very accommodating to me until the last minute. What ever i need in terms of info etc, they will provide answer.
Medjo tumagal lang delivery ng unit ko inview of the zero shipment of Ford in january & february. Can't blame the dealership for that. So if you need an SA sa Global, checkout Jon Hembrador cp#09162386410. Tell him i referred you baka you can get the same deal as what i had.

At any rate, the only freebie they provide is the floor mat & ewd. I got a 20K gas card which they still owe me as part
of our signing agreement way back in November. They just matched my insurance provider at 62K inclusive of 3 yrs TPL & AOG.

I'm note sure about the other features, but it looks like the local spec models don't have BLIS. (The one with BLIS has a one piece mirror, the one without BLIS has a small blind spot mirror on the upper corner)

If only, if only... I'd rather have that than the useless blindspot mirror. Heck... Ford should redesign the mirror for better visibility with the stock lens...

You got the bronze unit, right? Since you got the 2012 model, I believe our units have different mags coz mine is the 2011 model.
No idea about BLIS but since I got the unit with the irritating blind spot corner mirror then I don't that feature.
I never tried the cruise control coz I've never driven mine out of the city yet.

Active park assist helps the driver to look for a suitable parking slot & also park's the car without driver intervention. I don't think we have this feature though. I wonder kung meron ng sd card for the navigation.

my SA just called me they have sterling gray available right now. the buyer "backed out" daw and if i want, they could give it to me if in-house finance. the problem is i don't like gray on most cars and never did like that color especially on the explorer. patulan ko na kaya or wait a couple of months for the one i really like.

*foresterx: Yung friend ko din got a sterling gray in the blink of an eye kasi kesyo nag-"back out" daw yung original buyer. He really wanted gray so no more thinking, kuha agad and it was cash purchase (Ford Edsa) last January.

*macsd: Ah ganyan pala ang active park assist. Didn't see that feature in my unit. As for the sd card thingy for the gps, I talked to one SA in MIAS (I think taga-Ford Manila sya), sabi niya di daw pwd activate yung GPS dito sa 'Pinas. For US lang daw.
