    1. How good or bad it is to maintain the Explorer?

    - How many km/months for the interval?
    - How cheap/expensive the parts are?
    - How cheap/expensive to maintain an Explorer?

    2. Is the Explorer unreliable?
    - Common issues
    - Warranty claims

May nakita kasi ako sa OLX na used 2013 Ecoboost, just for 1.6M, and I'm thinking to sell my most beloved Hyundai Tucson for that. Pero kung sasakit lang ang ulo ko, might as well let the Tucson stay.

    Thank you
Kakilala ko had the front shocks replaced a few months out of warranty. This is a 3.5L unit. 19K isang shock absorber. And I thought 10k / pc for a sedan was expensive...

Apart from that, no other problems reported naman.

    Hi Guys,

    Good day!

I'm new here. Took me several hours to read all posts here and I learned several things regarding my Explorer. By the way, I own a 2013 Ford Explorer XLT Ecoboost and just want to know if there is a specific club in the Philippines for Ford Explorer owners? Also, can you recommend a good aircon shop in Quezon City that can service Ford Explorer? Just worried about getting my dashboard messed up if something needs to be replaced etc.

Sir exactly the same happened to my unit months ago. Initially na balik ko sa casa, they reprogrAmmed and cleaned the throttle body yun daw kasi yung error code na lumabas. Then after 2 days, bumalik nananaman. Binalik ko ulit pinalitan na nila yung throttle body, paid for it kasi wala na warranty. Til now ok na di na bumalik ulit.

Couldn't find it, maybe you confused the new 2.3L Ecoboost with the old 2.0L Ecoboost.

Autoindustriya has a review. It seems to be similar to the 2.0

Ford Explorers Investigated for Exhaust Gas Odor Inside SUV - ABC News

I hope with this investigation, they can come up with a final fix. It took FORD 5 years to run an investigation.
