Also, sometimes when I start engine, mag-on din ang radio ng mag-isa hehehehe!

May discrepancies sa station frequency display sa left and right. Dapat 89.1 at 96.3 pero naging 89.0 at 96.2 sa right.

Guys, went to Ford Edsa kanina, for a reservation sa Explorer Limted for my uncle. While waiting for the papers, I saw the Explorer ECOBOOST! 2.0 Liter Engine. SRP is P2.250M

It’s 124k cheaper than the limited explorer. Took some photos while checking the ECOBOOST and what are the 124k differences from the limited one.
Unit will be available in July. And wala pang nakapila!

Upon checking the exterior
-This one’s a blue color; the sales rep said it comes in black and white also.
-18 inch wheels
-Front grill and side mirror’s cover is not body color, comes only in black
-No sunroof
-Manual lift-gate







I borrowed the keys to check the interior
-Keys are different. No more starting the car from the outside I guess ☺
-They removed the push start button
-No more driver memory seats
-Still the 8” MFT, but didn’t include the 12 speakers of Sony audio system
-The controls below the LCD are diff.
-Started the engine and MFT, weird that they removed the seat cooling but the seat heater is still included. Patay summer pa naman.
-They didn’t include the power fold on the third row. 3 steps to stow the seats.
-Good thing they included the inflatable seatbelt for this one. However sa second row lng nilagay. (Front row wala. Not sure if the third row meron)




So far I wasn’t able to check if they included the camera during reverse.
Just want to share it sa mga d pa nakakita

Btw, Sabi daw 6-7km/L edsa traffic and 9kmL yung try nila to Baguio.

btw how's the fuel consumption of the explorer compared to cx-9 for those of you who already have your explorer. oh and went to mazda today to check out the cx-9, 100k discount, free lto, free insurance with aog, free mortgage, free 1st and 2nd PMS and the other usual freebies. medyo na tetempt tuloy ako mag cx-9 na lang considering the price difference and unit availability.

The usual ko sa guage sabi 21.6km/100L. so more or less nasa 4.6km/L. uwi ko always traffic sa edsa.

For the mazda, usual na ung 100k discount ata, 3 months ago we got the lower version cx7, 100k discount din bigay, the nakiusap kmi baka pwede addtional. nagpaapprove ng 120k discount, binigay naman That time we were considering the forester turbo and cx7. As far as i can remember 1.8 ung sub, then ung mazda 1.413 lng we think mas sulit sya for a unit that comes directly from japan plus the price. Value for money.

may limited na available sa FORD subic. i saw one yesterday dun. My husband is opting to buy one too....but decided to wait for the ecoboost.

called ford global today mukhang next year pa ako mag kakaron kung sa kali.
here's the list ng pila nila for each colors
white - 91
black - 53
gray - 45
bronze - 43

gusto ko pa naman din sana white kaso lalong tatagal pag white kaya deciding between black and bronze.

how does this dealer incentive work ba? does the buyer have to shoulder the whole 6-10% DI? over how many years kaya bubunuin yung additional na yun... grabe naman sila...

*armory2000: how I wish the specs of the Ecoboost (hindi kasama yung engine) are the same as the V6, in short sana hindi Limited edition ang pinarating ng FGP... the base model or XLT would have been good enough. Like what I said in my previous posts, some features IMO, we don't really need (eg. power fold 3rd row & automatic liftgate - yan mga yan pwede naman manual).

not really good at explaining how things work but if you read back a couple of pages some dealers were asking +200k if you're paying cash and don't want to wait that long for a unit. basically if +10%d.i. don nila kukunin yung +200k cash sa inhouse finance mo.

actually bro tingin ko magiging ganon din ang ecoboost since alam nila hot car talaga ang explorer ngayon, i just went to ford this morning to pass all my documents they need and asked about the new ranger. from what my S.A. told me mukhang i priority din nila ang mga in house finance since pa konti konti lang din ang dadating na ranger and mukhang madami din daw nag babalak kumuha.

yup, if by june or july wala pa din talaga available unit para sa akin either mag cx-9 na lang ako or legacy wagon. i really want the explorer so badly that i'm even allowing ford to fool me with their 10%d.i. but if by june or july and i still don't have one then that really means that this car isn't for me.
