Ngaun, ang ganda ganda ng takbo ng explorer ko coz lagi ko ngsun dala. Ang murs kasi ng gas unlike 8 years agom halos 2 weeks nasa garahe. Tingin ko yun sng problem eh, gsmitin in the first two days ignore those irregularites. If you can use a whole week straight, why not.

Abs light ko bigla nag-on pag nag speed up ako. Then patay makina, off na yun abs liight. Weird. Now, it doesnt turn on intermittently anymore. Lagi ko hinhataw pag may opportunity
:bwahaha: ob is back, meron ka ba talaga explorer? ano na ng yari sa other 8 cars mo na? san na 86 mo nilagyan mo na ba ng bikerack?

btw saw the new explorer and really like how it looks. sa picture kasi di talaga ako nagandahan pero nung nakita ko in person ganda pala. thinking of getting an explorer sport, san ba may available display?

Thanks

Thanks. Sabi sa owner's manual, hindi nga pwede kaya tinanong ko sa dealer. Pwede daw?? Next na pagbalik ko, makapagpaturo nga kung totoo.

Just this morning I got this issue when I about to leave the garage. Mine is a 2.0L 2015.

I started normally. Stepped on the brakes. Shifted to D and then released the park(foot) brakes. I released the brakes but the car wont move. I checked the park(foot) brake, I checked the shift. Park brake released, shift at D. I repeated the sequence but the car did not move. Seems like the park brake is engaged or there might be something preventing it to move forward.

I checked underneath, everything is clear. I started again and did the same sequence but it did not move so I have to press the gas pedal slowly. I heard a thud. Then it moves. I can't tell exactly where the thud originated but somewhere below and front.

    Anyone experienced the same?

Very common occurence. The brake cylinders just need some torque from the wheels to fully release.

My 6 plus works well but the messaging doesnt work. I dont think the cig lighter can be turned off but ford has been like that since the 1st gen exped days.

I think the brake pads sticked to the discs. I can see the marks. Thanks.

    Good evening, Gentlemen.

Few questions for the 2.0 Ecoboost/3.5 V6 owners.

    1. How good or bad it is to maintain the Explorer?
    - How many liters of engine oil?
    - How many km/months for the interval?
    - How cheap/expensive the parts are?
    - How cheap/expensive to maintain an Explorer?

    2. Is the Explorer unreliable?
    - Common issues
    - Warranty claims

May nakita kasi ako sa OLX na used 2013 Ecoboost, just for 1.6M, and I'm thinking to sell my most beloved Hyundai Tucson for that. Pero kung sasakit lang ang ulo ko, might as well let the Tucson stay.

    Thank you

My maintenance is outside the casa na since it's already out of warranty. I just buy original parts from Ford through various sources. Oil is about 7 liters which i get from Shell since casa use the same. Aside from the usual change oil & battery replacement (Motolite G65) i have no issue so far. As for the common issue, it's the smoke from the tail pipe that you will smell once suddenly rev and reach 3K rpm. Now kung yung plan mo bilihin eh pinaservice nya sa casa yang smoke issue like some here, then it's less smell you gonna get. With a cheaper gas prices now a days, the explo is a great ride.

I haven't kahit na almost 4 yrs na yung car ko. I think you can order a spare remote with key from casa. As to the changing in battery, kung natatakot ka, bring it sa watch repair shop, nagpapalit sila ng battery dun.
