Finally saw the Wildtrak both the 3.2 and the 2.2 manual. The added features really made it distinct from the XLT manual. Got surprised that the hill assist launch feature were both available for the wildtrak 2.2 manual and also the XLT manual. I verified this with a group of Ford SAs in the booth and all of them confirmed that this is so. Nice feature ... to be included in both manual. Very helpful on the inclines especially when its bumper to bumper and stop and go situations.

I am going to review the owner's manual on how to activate the hill launch assist and try it on my 2.2 XLT Manual... but as far as my unit is concerned (tried to activate it or use it), it has NO hill launch assist...

This one thing I would like Ford PH to clean up the paper specs, XLT here do not have puddle lamps, does your Wildtraks have it? if not, tanggalin na rin nila sa paper specs nila...

Sirs, yes the Ford people manning the Ford Rangers and Wildtrak were very specific in telling me this feature is available to both 2.2 XLT and 2.2 Wildtrak manuals. I even showed them the visuals for both wherein it states/showed the features and specifications for both variants. Again, i asked them if this is really true... since in some dealership ... iba ..iba ang sagot ng mga SAs. Now, with XLT manual owners saying otherwise, Ford should take out that claim in the XLT 2.2 manual model. Nandoon talaga sa specifications and features in MIAS show.... it has the hill assist launch feature . Ford or the dealer should take it out... they should be clear which variant has it. This kind of misrepresenting features that might ... cause some misunderstanding to the buying public. At saka, makahiya naman... each SA should know by heart ano ano ang feature ang available or not available. MIAS pa naman.

I believe you sir. It's the people in the ford ranger booth that i think should have been more knowledgeable to a customers query. Kasi sabi kaagad, yes, yun manual ng XLT mayroon din hill assist launch at saka nandoon nakalagay naman sa spec/feature niya sa standee which was beside each variant of the ford xlt/wildtrak. Anyway, i think na overlook lang talaga nila ito.

Was able to test drive the xlt manual today at mias. I found the ride pretty comfortable for a pick-up. Di lang narecognize yun phone ko when i tried to connect via bluetooth. Finalized na eto kukunin namin. Hopefully by july i'll be a ranger owner only choice to make now, white or black? Haha

Something weird happened to my 2.2 xlt Ranger today...bigla nalang hindi gumana yung voice command/recognition,bluetooth audio,aux using ipod.then after 5 hours bigla nalang siya gumana bigla.does anyone experienced this kind of incident sa Ranger nyo mga sir?thanks

What I experienced with my note 2 was the radio kept on searching for station and I couldn't change to aux or any other buttons. I thought it was my phone because my other Android phone is working fine.

Mga sirs, regarding sa hill launch assist feature, hindi tayo puwedeng dumepende sa mga SA's lamang dahil kahit sila minsan hindi nila alam ang mga features ng sasakyan na binebenta nila. Isa pa, maging alert din tayo sa mga features na kasama ng unit dahil minsan, magkakaiba ang features ng unit na nadedeliver sa atin. May mga batches ng unit na dumarating na may ganitong unit, tapos sa susunod na batch ng unit hindi ito kasama. Nakadepende din kasi talaga sa planta nila ang mga unit na pinapadala dito. Kaya kahit sabihin na natin na sobrang knowledgeable ang SA natin pero pag dating naman ng unit mo ay biglaang magbabago ang feature nito, naooverlook na niyang icheck pa ito. Ang maganda talagang gawin ay magresearch muna sa internet ng unit na gustong bilhin. Mainam din na kahit nagkakaubusan ng unit, kahit nagmamadali ka ng bumili, pinepressure ka na ng SA mo na bilhin ang unit dahil may ibang gustong kumuha, icheck mo lahat ng features na mayroon ang unit na kukunin mo. Para ng sa ganoon, hindi na natin kailangan hanapin ang mga features na wala naman sa unit natin. Isa pa, basahin ng maigi ang manual. Malaki maitutulong nito sa mga bagong owners ng sasakyan.

Para naman sa hill launch assist, IMHO, huwag din tayo maging dependent sa feature na ito. Bahagi ng pagkatuto natin magdrive ay ang matutong mag "hanging" kapag steep ang kalsada. Mahirap dumepende sa computer, baka magkaroon ito ng failure madisgrasya ka pa (huwag naman sana). Mas mabuti pa din na ang driver ang may control sa sasakyan at hindi ibang bagay.

So far wala na nagbebenta ng bnew XLT AT ngayon, 2.2 AT 4x2 wildtrak ang cheapest price AT ng ranger ngayon.

Guys meron ba sa inyo na nakakapansin na parang nag ga grind sa transmission sa mga rangers nyo ( manual transmission ) specially sa 2nd gear and 3rd gear? Kahit gano kaganda apak ko sa clutch parang lageng may sumasabit eh, sanay naman po ako sa manual kase almost 10 yrs na akong umaapak ng clutch hehehe

Try not to force the gear into the slot. Give it a gentle push and wait for the gear to slot in, then blend clutch...HTH
