Wala pa naman akong nakikitang Ranger na umuusok sa idle. These are much cleaner engines than the 4D56s..

A little update on FC and fuel used:

Trip to Manila - 12.95 km/L with avg speed of 54 kph, used Shell VPD

Trip back to Bicol - 13.35 km/L with avg speed of 54 kph, used Unioil diesel.

That's a 3% improvement but I can't say that it's due to Unioil being more efficient since the variance is too small and it could easily have been due to slightly less traffic on my trip back.

Will try again next time, probably with Petron Turbo Diesel naman.

I think inabot ng effect ng "law of supply and demand" bro....dati mas may demand kesa sa supply pero now madami na supply resulting to more suppliers/sellers pero the demand is not that high, that is, halos mas marami sa ranger owners ang hindi feel magpa raptor look, kaya bagsak price na. Am not sure if its worth comparing yung fender flares. Eto, madami demand till now at supply is just normal kaya the price stays the same for the past 3 months.

Hi guys, so far ala naman prob ung 2.2xlt ko other than nawala or hndi na gumaan ung UP arrow na lumalaabas sa RPM. And ung right front door kapag binubuksan at sarado may langitngit na maingay sa loob. And ung Ranger ko parang hindi naman mausok. Nung bago sya oo at high revs I think dun pala as ung black smoke. Dapat daw na hi high rev pa minsan minsan para lumabas ung black smoke at para mawala? Tutuo ba? Shell Fuel Save ang diesel kinakarga ko.

Gandang tanghali mga sir! ask ko lang po kung saang ford branch po mare-recommend nio.? we're planning to buy a unit, pero we request first na matest drive. kaso yung 2 na SA po na nakausap na namin sinet kami this day pero nagback out wala daw unit na pang test drive.. tpos nung nalaman na cash yung payment parang nag backout ayaw nila ng cash.. any SA po na pwede nio marecommend or any ford branch? tnx sir in advance

Nope, real paint yan bro. Plastidip has inferior texture compared to real paint and it wouldn't look as clean if I had opted for plastidip.

I also computed and the cost difference isn't that huge. 2 cans of True Aluminum Plastidip is 1.6k, labor costs to have it painted cleanly would be another 500 pesos. On the other hand, total cost for having the bumper painted was 3k, done at The Wet Look in Makati.

Sa akin naman meron parang loose spring/turnilyo or something sa glove box. No problem with opening/closing o kahit sa paglock, pero pag niyuyugyog ung glove box o pag isasara meron ka maririnig na parang small object na parang meron turnilyo na nasa loob ng mismong glove box na nahulog.

Wow. This is crap. 2,800kms only and just a year old...this should be covered by warranty. If I were in your place i would argue/fight for this.
