good day mga sir, may ask lang ako about sa 3 day old ford ranger ko, normal lang ba mga sir yung kaunting pag galaw ng rpm pag naka idle? tsaka napansin ko din pag nag fullstop ako parang may nahuhuling pagdownshift pa ulit yung auto, btw automatic po unit ko.

not sure kung normal yung galaw ng rpm kung naka idle, pero yung unit ko gumagalaw din ng unti kung idle.

If anyone was listening to the news yesterday, there was an incident in Robinson's Magnolia about a Ranger's spare tire being stolen and the following chase after. I checked my truck's spare tire after hearing it and lo and behold, my spare tire was also missing! I already had a second bike lock chain installed and it was probably cut by a bolt cutter. I tried to remember the parking spaces I used and it occurred to me that I last parked it at was at the new Glorietta parking. I also learned from the Ford Global that the spare tire costs P45,000! I'll probably claim it from my Insurance Co. but I would like to ask your advise how to secure the spare tire. Thanks in advance!

Someone would steal a sparetire sa Glorietta parking at yung new area pa?! This is hard to believe. Anywhere else you parked?

Rather than buying a new spare tire at that price, just buy some second hand mags then look for other people who have lost their wheels too.

Well, that and my office space parking at Fort Boni which has a guard assigned near my parking space. The parking space in Glorietta was the only other place I took the car and my sales agent also informed me that there have been cases of stolen spare tires even in PowerPlant

Well sir JP that's how hard life is for other people here in pinas. They tend to do anything to fill up their stomachs ( worst is vices)... Just be thankful that only your spare tire got lost and not your ranger unit itself hehe.
Spare tire at 45k is too much, you can buy a whole set of tires at that price. Try to scout for second hand with good condition tire and rim, It will cost you less
than 10k.
Then and again park your ranger on a safer parking areas :-)

Wow! It doesn't matter how many security guards there are talaga noh? They are all useless! You have to file a complaint sa glorietta parking management. Malamang kasabwat mga naglilinis ng kotse dun. Also always try parking next tothe entrance.

*JP*1 said that he'll make an insurance claim regarding his stolen spare tire. If he got the in house insurance of Ford Global City, AFAIK he doesn't have to pay the participation fee because AFAIK they have 0% participation fee.

Buying those "second hand" might just be the one that was stolen from you. Best to buy from authorized / reputable dealers and Ford parts resellers so there will be lesser demand for "second hand" parts, thereby reducing the incidence of stolen parts.

Around 5k ang price nito but try to browse at sulit meron mas cheaper compare to original ford spare tire lock. Sa carryboy at campershell meron din sila ganito. Grabe yang donut gang na yan hindi na nga alloy rim ung spare tire nakawin pa nila.

Mahal talaga sa kasa. try fitting it before buying sa shops para sure fit. carryboy and campershell are good place to find these locks. I was about to ask if mags yun nanakaw. Kasi steel rim lang yun spare ko. Anyway mahal din ang Bridgestone tire.
