I agree with you Sir, I can also hear the wind blowing towards the vehicle and it gets noticeably louder when cruising along NLEX with speeds between 120-140kmh. Maybe that's one reason why it affects the vehicle reaching a certain speed due to wind resistance, another factor din sa aerodynamics was the cargo bed as well. Definitely hinde masyado nag-focus ang R&D division ng Ford interms of aerodynamics with the new Ranger because it's a pick-up truck not a race car.

If you watched the development video of the rqnger, they did actually take in aerodynamics in consideration. It is even more slippery than the Hilux which makes it the most aerodynamic pickup truck in its class. Having a drag coefficient of iirc 0.24.

But due to the size of the ranger the air that passes through it affects more surface area as the air gets denser as you go faster.

Just did 170km/h at sctex. Kakayanin 180km/h i think. Satisfied na ako sa power and ride. Had fun using the cruise control and manual mode shifting.

I doubt, sobrang bagal na from 170-175 eh. Aerodynamics na talaga yung limiting factor, hindi pa nga redline ng 5th yun e pero sagad na

I hit it but it was on a downhill slope. I stayed flat out for the length of the Skyway but hindi na talaga umaangat. We were 4 on board though but I doubt going alone would have made any difference
