Eto din sinabi ng SA ko from Ford CDO last year before i got mine. It was one of the factors why i opted for the XLT version. He alleged that he got the info from the Ford plant, he spoke with the in-charge of unit allocation. He could mean the Ford HQ here in our country..

Sir djerms, what work/job did they do po sa unit mo on your 1000kms PMS?

1st 1k is just mainly systems check, fluids check, bolt tightening. I got a glimpse of my rig while hooked up to a device. Okay sa Ford Libis, they have customer service staff who will regularly ask you if everything is okay, while you are in the waiting area.

By the way, I saw the engine oil that they are using for our trucks. Its actually the same one specified in the manual. Castrol 5w30 (magnatec). It is B5 rated afaik.

sir tama po difference between the two 4x4 XL 2.2 125 horsepower compare to the 4x2 2.2 XLT 150 horsepower and also the internal and external features is different. 4x2 2.2 XLT has blue tooth and voice command, cruise control, usb connectivity, auto head lamp, auto wiper sensing, power fold mirrors, chrome grille, chrome mirror,

I find the ranger aircon thermostat control weird. If the heat of the sun is on the windshield, where you need the most cooling, it won't give you enough coolness, but when the sunrays is on the back of the vehicle or on the side, its very cold. Evidently at night, even it is adjusted to minimum the dial can attain, it blows very cold air that fogs the vehicle from inside, especially the back and the windows as you would not want cold air to blow in your face, and you definitely deflecting the cold air to the windows or to your feet or whatever. So I have to turn on the defogger from time to time to be able to see whats behind or turn off the aircon once in a while and put it back on when the glass are clear. These are so far my observations that I dont feel very comfortable with. It never happens on my previous vehicle, But perhaps ranger is a truck so one should not expect comfort to be a priority.

1. How do you lock the door and cannot be opened from the inside using just the switch? (NOT the manual child lock)

Like in our Everest, if you lock the driver's door the whole car will be locked from the inside and outside.

buong exhaust pipe, pero kung alam mo naman ang ginagawa mo and nasa car business ka, walang masisira diyan, bihira nasisira with/in the warranty period.....

Another important question:
We have 4x2 MT, I tried the Cruise Control and I was kinda puzzled because I turned on the Cruise Control at 4th Gear, I increased the speed and the car doesn't need shifting the gear up like an AT. Is it really like that? Also I can't decrease the speed while on Cruise Control.

Hindi po ko sure kung all MT pero hindi naman siguro Ang dami ngang gusto nung SA eh, una 3% DI, pero pinabayad niya na lang yung LTO para maprioritize daw kami. pati yung huper optik tint, insurance. free kasi dapat un LTO. wala tayo magagawa kokonti lang matinong SA e

Same model tayo. Ganun talaga mga SA, kumikita sila sa diskarte.
Yung SA namin sa kanya din kami bumili ng Everest dati pero inuutakan pa rin kami sa ranger.

Got mine from Ford Tarlac too. Blue Automatic around three weeks ago. No regrets! =) No DI. He just asked me to get the huper optik tint, insurance and LTO registration for three years.
