Yup, saw that one too. P1.4M price nya. Guess the 3.2 of Ford won't be far from this.

I check the Mazda website no new BT-50 there. And I checked the ford website the old ranger is no longer in the price list!. I wished they'd already release the price list!

but i have to admit the front end of the BT50! looks better than the ranger! BT50's front fascia design makes it look wider on the other hand the rangers design seem to make it look small!

I have to agree on this, it looks better. Although this is subjective of course.

For me it adds a refreshing aspect to the whole package. But the Ranger is ok as it is.

Lets hope that Ford Phils will not hold back the 3.2li wildtrak or xlt, since other markets like thailand, malaysia, etc already have them.

Personally I would like a 4DR 3.2 XLT 4WD 6AT with all the extras of a Wildtrack but without the extra body kit and roll bars etc.. I think the XLT looks better.
    Rumor is 4DR 3.2 XLT 4WD 6AT will be available for 999,000
Where did you get this rumor as I just spent over 2 hour with Ford dealer today and 3.2 is not even in the works for thailand! Plant in Rayong says no AT, 4dr 4X4's have been delivered anywhere, just the MT!!

The rumor for 3.2 WT is from the net like the Bangkok Post and Ford at the auto show. At the show 3.2 WT was set be be available to order sometime in April with not price set but a rumor of about 1.049 to 1.1 million(THB). XLT 3.2 rumor was from the show and the net but not available until end of 2012 with no price just leaving us to guess at 999. As to the 2.2 XLT 4x4 AT I was told to call March 1st to confirm my order change since my 4x4 WT date is too far into the future for me wait.

Plus Ford Thailand | Ford Sales & Service (Thailand) has under models both WT 3.2 and XLT 4x4 AT 2.2 but no current price listing for either model.

eto yung pricelist sa ford thailand nang 2.2 ranger....... sa:
Ford Thailand | All-New Ranger - Price List

currency 1 Thai Baht = 1.39552303 Piso ng Pilipinas

    3.2 4x4 wildtak = 1.46 million php... probable + php d2 sa pinas
    2.2 x4 at wldtrk = 1.35 mill
2.2 x4 xlt = 1.2 mill (low pice probably because of low displacement engine less horse power than other brands in the market less hp even than the cheaper strada) good thing! im aiming for lowercost 4x4 well within my budget!

sana nga mas mababa sa Strada na 4X4 and price... kasi nasa 1.2 M din ang Strada MT 4x4... so halos kapareho ng Ranger 2.2 na 4X4.

mapapa isip ka pa din pag ganun...

yes! 21 days to go, on-sale na ang ranger cant wait! soo anu nga daw sabi nang ford pag display nila sa MIAS onsale na agad? it would be disappointing naman if di pa nila ibenta! anyway what is up with ford? why are they just taking their time? has it become their mantra not to be competitive. first quarter is already over ford is just missing out on alot of customers!

Mga paps usually ba mas mataas maintenance cost pag 4x4 kaysa 4x2? heard kasi sa mga review ng ranger bukod sa new engine ang interval pms neto ay 15,000km or 12months, nakalagay din sa e-brochure ng ford australia

Medyo may dagdag maintenance dahil sa oil ng front diff (every 40K palit) at yung 4wd transmission may mga wear and tear but minimal naman basta gamitin from time to time para hindi maging stuck yung moving parts.

Yung 15,000kms eh normal use, severe driving naman tayo kaya I'm sure mas mababa yan. Use a good aftermarket filter and at least for the engine oil you can extend to 15,000kms.

I like to play it safe. 5T kms or 3 months whichever comes first. Works for me. No sludge on any of my rides.

tagal din lumabas ng Ranger ah...

4x4 vs. 4x2 ... If kaya mong i-offroad ang brandnew ranger at kaya mong tiisin na mag ka dents sya on the Trail, the 4x4 is for you. But then again I'd get winch to be sure and change to aggressive AT tires minimum or MT tires, a stock 4x4 has its limitations... Pero kung Baha lang ng Metro Manila is the reason why anyone is considering a 4x4 tama na ang 4x2.. Trust me on this taga Malabon ako... hehehe

Possible kaya na magka issue ang usability ng new ranger here?

Like yung issue with D4D and our alleged dirty diesel?

If you think about it, the outgoing Ranger already has a TDCi (Turbo Diesel Commonrail injection) engine.
