I don't even know why Ford Phils is even bothering with a XL 4x4. Are they trying to outdo the DMax 4x4 LT M/T (the only other " bare bones " 4x4 pickup in the market)?

It seems the more affluent market/countries get the goodies first (ie. Wildtrak). Once sales/demand for the Wildtrak tapers, that's the time Ford will start to peddle it here.

My guess is we have a very small market so we are at the bottom of the list for the allocation of the Wildtrak.

My Thai friend who reserved his Wildtrak last year (during the BKK Motor Show to be precise) just got his Wildtrak a few days ago.

Where did you took the ranger for a test drive? If its inside BGC alone then that comfort ride is inconclusive since the road condition us we all know it is much better comparing it with our ordinary street.

I drove it from Ford Global City up to Enderun Colleges and vice versa. There's a a bit of a rough patch of asphalt, about 10-50 meters long at the intersection of Lawton Avenue and Upper Mckinley Hill Road and near Venice Piazza, I deliberately ran over it at 40-50 kph to test the riding comfort. My observation and my friend's observation who rode at the back was that it has a better riding comfort than all of the pick ups in the market right now, including the Strada.

Yes, it would be released early next year or maybe earlier, depending on the normalization of deliveries in Thailand and the demand for it here in the Philippines

sa q.ave at libis ayaw ng P.O. tas 50% down.. gusto nila in house financing tas 20% down lang din para daw bigyan ng unit...

yung sa kausap ko sa greenhills ganun din, yeng naman pangalan.. di ko pa natatawagan yung tina...

lahat sila halos sabi kung gusto ko makakuha ng unit, wag daw ako mag PO at sa kanila na lang daw magpa finance... e ang laki din ng difference... sayang naman... ayaw lalo nila ng cash...
