I've had my Ranger for about three weeks now, 4x2 XLT AT. That's my FC after taking a Bacolod to Dumaguete and back trip. Mixed of highway (35%), city (55%), and off road (10%) driving. FC is kinda low at only 8 km/L but keep in mind I'm driving with a heavy foot on the accelerator most of time to test out the vehicle. FC has improved a little bit since then, I'm now at 1300kms. I've reached speeds of up to 170 kph but ran out of road so I wasn't able to reach the full 200 kph. I'm pretty sure the Ranger can reach that speed without a problem given enough road and no other vehicles/pedestrians in sight. Ride is smooth until you hit the 150+ kph range. VERY fast acceleration, you can maintain speeds of 100-120 kph in a matter of seconds. The brakes are quite good too, you can really feel the grip especially if you're doing turns with a relatively fast speed.

before entering a long trip, it's better to reset the computer.
the average FC includes the traffic/etc.

maglabas nalang sila ng wildtrack accessories or a conversion kit.

What makes you say na magiging underpowered ang engine kapag nagkaroon ng 2.2 wildtrak? Afaik accessories lang naman ang naidagdag. Yung wildtrak namin nilalagyan ng isa o minsan dalawang sako ng buhangin kasi sobrang tagtag and still I get 14kms/liter sa hiway and 9-10kms/liter city. Not to mention na ang tingin ko dito sa 2.2 engine na to ay kasinglakas ng 3.0 nila.

Mga tsikoteers I need your help and advice.. Saan magandang dealer nakumuha Ng ranger matic na walang 3-5% dealers incentive at mandatory in house insurance? Other dealers kasi masyado mataas insurance almost 40k and tint h.optic is 25k pati bed liner tinanggal pa nila as standard accessories. I think it's not reasonable po ito.thanks in advance

    Pentel,

Looking at the picture of the gauges, may dimmer ba?

Why you would compare the 2.2 XLT to the 3.2 BT-50 is beyond me! Compare the 3.2 Wildtrak to the 3.2 BT-50. Iba rin ang interior ng 3.2 Ranger sa xlt 4.2.

I'm not sure about that, since its pretty much loaded, it even has Rain-sensing wipers, Bluetooth Connectivity and Voice Control.

The Ranger and BT-50 are mechanically identical (2.2 vs 2.2, 3.2 vs 3.2) and are more or less the same under the skin, unlike the previous generation models which were developed by Mazda, the new models were developed by Ford.
Hill Descent Control is only for the 4x4 model. Just like the 4x2 Ranger XLT, the 4x2 BT-50 has no Hill Descent Control.
Out of curiosity, does the local spec BT-50 have Bluetooth Connectivity and Voice Control?

to those who have their rangers installed with back-up sensor at alabang (i forgot the shop) pa post naman po ng pics. I just want to have an idea on how it was installed kasi nga sabi dito sa forum mahirap lagyan pag naka chrome ang bumper. I'm planning to buy this truck kasi by early next year para mas available na din yung mga accessories and ito ang una kong gusto ipa install. Mahirap umatras kasi pag malaki oto tapos di mo nakikita. We have a field master din tapos walang back-up sensor medyo mahirap lalo na sa mga maliit na kalye tapos mag backing ka. sa small car ko may ganito ang dali ng buhay eh. hehe. thanks tsikot.

Nakalimutan ko may built in dn pala na back up sensor ang bt 50 aside sa added features kaya mas mahal. Yung 2.2 compared sa 2.2 xlt. Engine and performance pareho lang. Same platform.
