You will never know unless tested na for a year or two. Minsan nga mas matagal pa lumalabas ung recall. Btw i love this white wildtrack![]()
Hey guys! Meron na bang information regarding the 2.2 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4?
Ganda ng wildtrak!sana may interior pics din. Pagipunan ko talaga to kahit yung 4x2 A/T XLT lang. Yan pa ba ang lineup nila sa 4x2?

gandang araw sa lahat ng mga tsikoters d2. newbie po ako d2 bt I've been following this thread months ago na... share ko lng po... I'm here in qatar now. so few days ago I'd decided to check c ranger sa showroom ng ford d2 s qatar... bt as wht we expected ganda ni ranger, kya lng d xa naka mags... ung naka display s showroom ay 2.2 mt and 4x4 sya... I ask ung isang SA ng ford kung my wildtrack or other variants c ranger bt sabi nya wla n dw, and ung existing n unit is un dw ang design ni ranger sa mid east zone, bt mura xa d2 85,000.00 Qatar riyals x 11.50 rate = 977500 petot, 2.2 mt 4x4.
Testing purposes lang daw yung pinarating nila dito na 2.2 Wildtrak, kung feasible ba siya for the market. Pero speculation ko, kaya hindi na maglalabas siguro ng 2.2 Wildtrak is because underpowered na siya because of the heavier mass. Meaning the 2.2 engine is more than enough for the 4x2 XLT na hindi ganun kabigat, pero pagdating sa Wildtrak na mas mabigat, magiging underpowered na ang engine.
Any feedback po sa durability and reliability ng ford ranger diesel engine and other parts compared to dmax since it's my first choice of pick up... Also the riding comfort between the two... Planning to use it in long driving... mixed of cement and asphalt highways with potholes...Planning to buy early 2nd quarter nxt yr either 4x2 XLT or Wildtrak whichever suit my budget... (:
PS: sorry po if this is OT but i will appreciate any feedbacks... Many thanks...
I would suggest you go for the 4x2 XLT A/T (Ford is known for their good auto trans) Ranger if you are going to put cement on the back. Sayang lang if Wildtrak tapos for such industrial use.
Right now the Rangers are the best bang for bucks hands down but D-Max will be releasing a new truck din by next year so you can start reviewing the D-max online right now. Imo i'd still go for the Ranger in terms of comfort and style but the D-max is a good choice!
I mean of cement and asphalt highways with potholes sir is the road road condition i intend to use... I will use my bedline for bikes for occasional offroad or circuit track otherwise my wife and i are the only added weight...Auto tranny is only the option that i have which is good to hear from you bout the ranger auto tranny...
Regarding 2013 dmax, I haven't heard yet from my SA if when they intend to bring it hear... Anyway i still have time to do the research and hear feedbacks from the first batch owner of ranger... (:
