More reviews for the 2012 Ford Ranger please.Thanks.
I don't think I am the right person to review the ranger. My everyday car is a Nissan LEC replaced occasionally by an Innova or a Tamaraw FX. The XLT Manual grows on you. At first I regretted not getting the Automatic... but after a few days of using the manual truck, you get used to the rock solid suspensions as well as the shifting. Even the manner of how you drive it, since medyo malaki ang turning radius at medyo mahaba... dahan dahan ang liko sa maliliit na kalsada. You will feel that you do not need to impose. Its mere presence alone nakakasindak na without pushing it. In other words para kang nakasakay sa tangke. The 2.2 engine is more than enough for my needs I'm even surprised kasi ang FX 2.0 diesel na pero di ganyan ang power parang double ang power ng ranger. Ang astig dito it can communicate with my Music Express na 5800 pwede ko i-pair at gamitin ang onboard phone. At, biruin mo me cruise control (although di pa ako marunong gumamit). Yung bagyo last Sunday di ko sasagupain yun kung naka Nissan LEC ako or even FX or Innova. Biruin mo 6'1" ako I still need to prop myself up para makaupo sa driver seat. Kung si Lola or si mommy isasakay nyo make sure na me hagdan or bangko kayo na tungtungan because even yung stepboard mataas. Medyo makonsumo lang pero sa umpisa lang siguro ito. Overall... I am very satisfied.... next stop is to have it fitted with parking sensors and seat covers.
Oh by the way initial fuel consumption is like 6km/liter not sure if this is correct (I am using it purely city driving at madalas traffic pa)... pero sabi ni Kervs its like 10km/liter.
Saw a red 4x4 ranger today, black grille pala ito and it doesn't have step boards.
Makes sense if you ask me. I never use the stepboard in my cars.![]()
I posted this last time, this is what Anika Salceda-Wycoco, Ford Philippines' AVP Corporate Communications said.
our Ranger XL will have 16 inch alloy wheels. We will not have the exterior tie-down hooks and the load rest (at box load compartment)...these are typically for fleet use.
Saw one 2012 Ford Ranger na white 4x2 ata yun. Hands down ako sa road presence!
