Hi dvldoc. I need some help here. I would want to run a filter relocation modification BUT the housing for the filter is small. Current or correct filter being used is a bd7160 but gasket diameter for the filter relocation would be able to fit a B2 diameter. Here is the data on the two filters.

B2:
Contains: Anti-Drainback Valve
8 PSID Front End By-Pass Valve
Descriptions: Dual-Flow Lube Spin-on

BD7160:
Descriptions: Dual-Flow Lube Spin-on
Contains: 11-17 PSID By-Pass Valve


I can't remember if I can run a higher or lower psid filter.

Hi dvldoc. I need some help here. I would want to run a filter relocation modification BUT the housing for the filter is small. Current or correct filter being used is a bd7160 but gasket diameter for the filter relocation would be able to fit a B2 diameter. Here is the data on the two filters.

I think you have your filter number mixed it's not a B2 maybe you mean a BD28. The gaskets on those two are different the thread pitch is the same. It may or may not work due to the gaskets size difference you might have a leak.

Sorry incomplete info. Thread pitch will not matter and I know filters have different pitch. The relocator has replaceable pedestal (I can't remember what you call the thing you screw your filter on.) so I can use either pitch what I need is for the gasket to hit the lip. The b2 seals on the lip well but has a lowered psid. You think I can use the b2 to replace the original filter?

bro nakunan mo ba ng picture yung LF na sasayad sa hose?
my 2 boxes(24pcs)of bd28 naman sold out din. good kung mgkakasupply sa volmax, para hindi na ako mahirapan magparating

The B2 is not a dual flow filter it's a full flow. They way you can tell this also on Baldwin part numbers is the D in the part number means dual flow.

guys tunay ba delvac1 sa cashncarry? 440php lang kasi.. parang cheaper pa sa mga alam kong stores sa us..
pag sa us.. saan store po ba dapat bibili ng synthetic oil? hehe

ano po good for value oil mabili ngayon mineral or synthetic is fine... for diesel
sa lahat kasi na sasakyan namin i use revx or superdiesel oil... ok naman and walang problema.. kayalang medyo napaisip ako lagyan ng cheap oil yung new diesel ng dad ko.. hehe

I was testing this new oil, ENOC Vulcan 770x - CI4, CH4, SL. Its Made In saudi Arabia. I was not able to get more DATA like Zinc Content and whether it has been Reformulated to get CI4 Plus.
Have you come across this Oil and any info on it?

The Fleetguard is 30 microns * 95% efficiency.

Using a longer version just depends if you have space which in a Ranger you should just make sure the filters have the same gasket, and close to the same bypass valve if it has one.

Rangers are particular dirty so I would stick with 10000klm max. The only way to squeeze extra life out of oil is to do a EGR delete and Oil catch can, that will get you your 12000klm. Delo 400 will easily go this distance.

Can't find it either but if you stick with CI-4 Then there should be plenty of ZDDP
