i'd rather take the LRT2 and go to binondo and buy Baldwin. Binondo is easily accessible from Marikina. Dont you want best filtration for your civic? you can buy 2 years supply of filter para hindi ka na bumalik pa dun. dvldoc posted before that good oil + crappy filtration = useless na.

i would do the same. get lots of it so that you wouldnt have to go back there often.
to make full use of the potential of your oil you have to pair it up with a high quality filter. in the end, you get your moneys worth plus Extended Oil change interval, which results to SAVINGS.

Thanks Ry, doc for the inputs. Now the question is, will it fit There seems to be a .25 inch diameter difference and about an inch difference in length (1230A045 versus LF3830).

Well actuually you could, look at it like this usinng the VIC version you got a 40 micron filter even though it has a bypass section, which is only filtering 10% of the oil at a time. Now the fleetguard is a 25 micron filter with a much better filter element.

The lf3564 is the better filter to use, not that they sell a quality one here, but the other is a good optionn if you can get a made in USA version


Its like my filter set up, the luberfiner version of my fleetguard is a full flow vs the fleetguards bypass set up due to it having a synthetic media and high flow capacity.

I have already had 3 PM and a email saying those ones from pacer started to leak on them so I would stick with the quality bd28.

You can check the location of Volmax on googlemaps. LRT is the best option or you can check w dvl doctor if he has stock that can be sold and LBC'd to you.

Mine after using the bd28 after 3k km, dark na siya. Normal diesel oil color na. Will use it for another 5000 km more.
