delvac mx is for serious heavy duty application. its not intended for passenger vehicles.

i think its the same for Rimula R4x. it was designed to be used for trucks and mining equipments.

Hehe okay yan try ko r4x sa sunod na change oil which is 1k kms away.
Na try ko na rin Delvac MX noon, lumakas consumo.

I double checked. shell rimula r4x di pala pwede with dpf. mali ata basa ko sa pds nya.

other choice is liquimoly diesel hi tech 5w40.

Guys, due na ko for change oil. Which is better? Zic a+ 5w-30 or shell helix ultra with pure plus tech 0w-40 (both fully synthetic). For vios. Thanks

Try mo na lang pareho especially if same price. But choose the cheaper one if I were you.

afaik, cheaper ang zic a+, pero as per experience, mas gusto ng 1.3 vios namin yung 5w40 helix ultra with pure plus compared to 10w40 na zic a (semi-syn).

wala pang HX7 na may pureplus. helix ultra lang meron pure plus tech. retail ng station nasa 700-720/liter. pero nakakita ako online nasa 500/liter yata

Currently using zic a semi-synthetic. So far ok naman. Plan ko mag change to fully synthetic para compare difference. Kung mas fuel efficient at mas malakas hatak.

Tried zic xq 5w40. So far so good. Engine is quiet as if i did not start the engine.

May Shell Helix Diesel HX5 15w40 with Pureplus tech na sa supplier namin. P1,290 ang 6L jug.

mura yan kung pureplus na yung HX5. last time na check ko is Ultra lang meron. the rest is "active cleansing technology" lang. kukuha ka? pa-picture naman and ano API rating?

I am due for 10k PMS next month, on my previous PMS I used oil provided by the casa but this time I am planning to buy 1 on my own. It is said in my car's manual that I should use SAE 5W-30 oil... anu magandang brand ng oil with the same specs.

Viscosity is just one requirement, second one is the engine oil classification. What does your owners manual ask for?

if kasya sa budget mo i would suggest go with the new shell with pure plus...
piliin mo lang yung same spec required sa manual mo, im sure meh equivalent yan...

it took shell more than 20 years to mass produce the product and develop the technologies para maging mainstream,
