    maganda ang tatak na mobil 1 pero di ko pa na try ang mobil delvax mx ang ginagamit ko yung mobil 1 ultimate 0w 40 meron akong 5yrs old na diesel engine at 7 yrs na gasoline engine wala akong naging problema every 10k ang palit ng oil ever 5k top up lang.

    delo 400 gamit ko sa crosswind kase 5k mahigit ang tinatakbo niya sa isang buwan average niya 230km per day feeling ko nga kaya up to 7k vic pa gamit ko na filter what more kung pair mo sa baldwin or original.

    is delo 400 multigrade a mineral oil only? i thought it is semi synthetic, as it was labeled isosyn, and advertise to rival synthetic performance. satisfied with delo 400 for its balanced protection and performance.

    Kahit yung basic delo gold multigrade at delo gold ultra eh may nakalagay na isosyn pero mineral.

    pero kakatingin ko lang din sa manual ng kotse and hindi pala siya recommended sa fd. so i guess back to 5w-30 or 5w-40 ako. kung sabagay ok naman iyong mag 1 na ginagamit ko paired w/ a baldwin. no problems naman

    *bugoy sayang lang pera mo kung 5k oci lang gagawin mo, mag delo gold ultra(dgu) ka na lang, kahit anung oil pasok na sa requirements mo nakikita ko sa market wag lang yung di kilala, maliban na lang kung naghahanap ka ng performance o nasa hauling, racing, or any heavy duty driving.

    *sir ronal_ramos, salamat nga pala sa info sa pm mo, may problema kasi tsikot mobile app naten ang hirap magreply.
    sir bat di kayo mag invest sa remote dual bypass oil filter system sulit sa inyo yan, kasi 200km+/day mileage nyo.

    kakatakot din minsan mag extended oci, pag puro visual at subjective feeling lang pagbabatayan, di din sulit oil analysis kung isa lang car maintain, ginagawa ng mag expeditionary mission sa ibang bansa kadalasan mag remote dual bypass system, extra capacity of engine oil then fully synthetic oil na. sayang daw kasi pera sa fully synthetic kung di naman mag extended oci kaya remote dual bypass is a must.

    Thank you for the inputs.

    *jagger- I just want to try new and thicker oil than 30, feeling ko mabilis mag breakdown ang 30 (gut feeling), but the only way to find out is through testing and analysis.

    *ronald- I'm using Bosch oil filter for the first time after using OEM since new, mas maganda ang mga reviews compared sa oem, wala pang Baldwin for the 4jj1, hence I tried the Bosch. So far so good, though since March I've only logged 2.5k kms, so I can't really comment on its durability/performance.

    *jagger- Okay lang sir, ginagamit naman. Just want to try new ones that I can steadily use during oci.

    On a sidenote, I'm a "believer" of every 5k-6k oci, rather than 10k extended oci, using high end oil and filter like Baldwin, FG, etc. Albeit I wish Baldwin has filter for my Dmax. Parang for me its like wearing a regular shirt that you replace once-twice a week, compared to a Lacoste shirt that you change every week. Pwede naman, but parang mas presko pag nag palit ka na ng new shirt after being exposed sa elements. This is just me. I know the R&D guys from oil companies had put tons of effort, time and money to those oil, additives, etc.

    I'm no mad scientist, nor a smart ass, just a plain regular joe, who wants to learn more about oils and whatnot.

    P.S. Pero minsan napapaisip din ako kung meron lang Baldwin, malamang nag extended (8-10k) oci na din ako. Hahahah

    When I inquired about that oil, meron daw sila promo na buy 4 litres get 1 litre free. Sabi ng Handyman staff sa akin, that was last month pa IIRC.

    I must say smoother indeed. Baka nga better pa if Top 1 SDO instead of Delo 400. Kasi next ceratec good for a long while eh. hehe

    Tapos baldwin pa oil filter, sayang kung hindi isagad sa 10,000kms.
