although there won't be any big real world difference sa overall performance ng oil group II/III/IV on a normal daily driven vehicle,
siyempre there will be different market segments on the basis of buying capability ng owner,
most John deere farm equipments and heavy duty hauling vehicles all over the world adhere to some form of fleet and oil maintenance program, and results indicate that regular oils like delo gold/400, rimula, etc, can adequately provide the protection even after 1,000,000 miles/ 30,000 plus hours on severe punishing conditions ( which family vehicles will never experience).
there is not enough stress in regular/normal/well maintained operated vehicles to push HDEO to failure with normal OCI.
yung RP oil was already sold and bought by another big company,
if im not mistaken same company who owns ashland (makers of valvoline)
Basta palit every 5000km
Doesnt matter kung baldwin or vic basta palit every 5000km..
"I'd rather have a dirty oil rather than no oil fpr a second."
I'm kinda confused. According to my Vehicle's Manual for Grand Starex.
API CH-4/ACEA A3/B4.
Just need to research some more on it. Hehe mas mura sa royal purple hahaha
pwede yan..
CH-4 (1998 Reduced Emission Diesel Engine Service) = The CH-4 category is intended to address the requirements for high-speed, four stroke diesel engines to meet 1998 exhaust emission standards. CH-4 oils are specifically compounded for use with diesel fuels containing up to 0.5% sulfur. They can also be used in gasoline engines when combined with the appropriate “S” category when the vehicle or engine manufacturer recommends.API CH-4/ACEA A3/B4
ACEA A3/B4 = Stable, stay-in-grade oil intended for use in high performance gasoline and direct injection diesel engines, but also suitable for applications described under A3/B3.
