Zic x7 is grp3
Zic x9 is grp3 or grp4 depending on region.

Good oils depend on two things: base stock and additive packages.

I read in a manual that the maximum allowed between different makes is 1%. This is to account for solubility of additives to base oils used by the different manufacturers when they blendi their oils. Typically 3-4 additives used., well 4 if viscosity improver is used.

Nasa monty ko ngaun 5.5 liters Delo Sport 5W-30 FS at 1 liter Shell Helix Ultra with pureplus 5W-30. Dahin natapon langis na Delo habang nag change oil ako. [emoji24] dahil wala mahanap na Delo Sports, Shell pinang top-up ko.

You can mix 0w20 and 5w40, there are several blenders in bobistheoilguy forums... biggest oil forums. There are also big russian oil forums.

Reps from castrol and pennzoil also say its ok...

Old monty na. Ngaun na lang ulet nakatikim ng FS monty ko. 90K kms natakbo.

I switched my 2014 mits adventure's engine oil to zix 5w-30 from petron trekker 10w -40.

Engine runs smoother and accelerates faster.

Fuel efficiency is 8 km per liter pure city driving. 12.5 kms per liter hiway driving. Fuel used is seaoil diesel. Car has 33k kms on odometer.

After 2000km or 26hrs (ecu counter)

I changed oil again. Shell helix ultra again.

I wonder how many hours before most hit 5000km in metro manila traffic.

If these are the grp4 variants, its the cheapest in the country.

Motul grp5s and luiquimoly grp4s are double the cost.
