dieseldude help naman, i have a toyota liteace and im planning to change engine from 5k to 2ct engine, i just want to know what are the advantages and disadvantages on having 2ct engine. sirain ba to o magandang engine. some mechanics say that its a disposable engine, is it true? i want to know what you think.i posted on the other thread pero no one replied or commented. i think they dont know what to say. maybe you can answer dieseldude. tia!

I suggest you keep your original 5k engine. The cost of a 2nd hand 2ct plus other additional expenses cannot justify your expected fuel savings if you convert to diesel. Try to do some calculations.

And if modification work is poorly done, you will have to live with it.

sir diesel dude, would like to know if you perform services on mercedes benz
s too. i currently have a w124 250D and im experiencing some engine noise (as compared to other people i know with benz diesels which are very quiet) and a weird vibration from the fuel lines. liek when i touch the lines, then seem to be a tapping feeling inside them.

Sir ask lang kung anu anu symptoms kapag kailangan ng icalibrate ang injection pump?mine is crosswind xto 2001 with 76000+ of mileage.minsan kasi malakas vibration kapag nag auotmatic na yung AC(off).TIA!

Baka mababa lang ang setting ng low idle rpm.

Or baka worn out na ang engine supports.

Sir Diesel Dude! I hope this still falls into your expertise.

Hingi lang ako ng advice. Our family just got a new Nissan navara 4x2 A/T. Now balak ko mag install ng extra gauges (I can get a good deal off a set of 3 ng Defi BF gauges) ask ko lang ano po ang pinaka important na readings I could do with? I was thinking a EGT, Water temp. and a boost meter. Truck will be mainly used for ferrying passengers and occasionally transport 45kgs drums no more than six at a time madalang lang. Cavite - Paranaque route.

I wouldn't recommend adding any aftermarket gauges to your Navara as this could void warranty of your new car.

Sir Dieseldude are you in favor of putting 2t oil in diesel as lubricant? I read a thread here that 1996 and older engines might add 2t oils in their diesel to compensate the low sulfur content of our diesel nowadays.

Ask ko lang po, narinig ko po kasi sa may parking lot.

ang diesel na montero daw nya pag nag pa re-fuel is full tank and nilalagyan daw ng 1 liter na kerosene.

para daw luminis yung makina at fuel system.

totoo po ba ito? and advisable po ba ito?
