hingin ko po sana expert opinion/advice nyo regarding increasing the boost of 4d56tdic engines by putting washers underneath the wastegate actuator can, as per initiated by our respected tsikot top members..
i personally installed the modification on my ride (95 pajero local) and power difference is very much noticeable..

Wastegate was probably out of adjustment and dumping exhaust gasses.

The wastegate controls maximum turbo rpm, and should be adjusted to your engine's specs.

Sir Dieseldude may I ask what would happen if you would pre-heat the diesel fuel before it enters the injection pump? Any benefits or bad effects?

Normally aspirated

A mechanic has replaced the water pump unfortunately there are no timing marks on the cam, injection or crank pulleys.
After the assembly, the engine took some time to start (run at idle for a few minutes then turned off the key). After the mechanic left It is still hard to start and it died. My brother filled the tank with one gallon of diesel. then it started but there is some terrible noise as if an injection noise or a high pitched metal noise.

Actually I left the mechanic with my brother and never witnessed the first or second start ( I had something important to do).

Is our camshaft or piston or valved already destroyed?

How do you time a diesel without ,markings?

What shall I do now? Thanks in advance..

You will probably have a slight improvement on fuel consumption, and a decrease in power as well.

just would like to know kung saan pwede magpacalibrate ng direct injection engine. sabi kasi sa akin pa calibrate ko daw ang injection pump ko... any place you know near cavite area lang po sana..
