It's not normal for the stering to veer to the right unless you are in a highway which is not flat, meaning the highway is a little tilted to the right then your steering would pull you a little to the right.
check you tire pressure. your right tire could be softer or lesser pressure than the left. if they are the same then bring it to casa or any alignment center. maybe it needs to be aligned.

thanks... its align but the right seems to be softer than the left side so the tendency is it veers to the right... quite WEIRD!!! according to sources, captiva had issues in its 2008 models thats why many were sent to alignment center... they change the tires and the size from 16 to 17... please expound... im thinking the steering wheel sensor is not working or not properly calibrated thats why the steering wheel do not return to its original center position... what you think guys?

check your manual coz this works on your 4wd system. try switching the manual 4wd switch if it has one. turn it on or off while driving and see what happens. check also if your winter mode switch is depressed. it shouldn't be on the on position. check your manual or call the emergency roadside assistance ng chevy.

ano kaya solution dito? rustproof kaya?
I have a problem with my 1 week old captiva. Di ko pa sya maiwan sa parking ng mall, may mga tao kasing naguusyoso & taking pictures of the SUV. Baka carnapper ikako, pero kahit babae e tumitigil din & tinitingnan yung brand "CAPTIVA". he he he. Recently reached 1016km, averaged 8.5km/li combined city/hway driving. Poging pogi talaga.

The captiva just released a refresh for 2009 (7 seater) so i suppose it's still the same model for 2010

is the 7 seater available in all variants? hindi ba cramped ang 3rd row seats? or is it just good for kids? or will fit 3 adults naman?

i'm 5'7" but could fit in the 3rd row but of course not as comfortableas you want it to be. medyo nakataas ang knees mo sa seats. go to the showrooms and see for yourself.

Actually its too early to judge it. As you can see its perfectly camouflaged. You can't tell what the revision would look like. From the looks of it though, new grille and lights
