i,ve heard about it. i asked the service manager of chevy shaw about it. pwed nman daw ikabit outside warranty. it will really enhance the power and torque however this is not recommended technically for captiva engine.

How do you remove the water marks sa windshield? Di ko matanggal ng glass cleaner & I tried suka din mdyo nabawasan naman. Napagod na yung kamay ko kaya pahinga muna. Pag hindi pa natanggal eh dalhin ko na sya sa Chevy Alabang, recommend nila e buffing daw?

have you tried using rubbing compound? yan daw ginagamit ng ibang detailers. you could try asking also meguiars, meron ata sila good glass cleaners or acid rain stain removers.

shop around banawe area, blumentritt or p.tuazon cubao. dami dun magwheel dealers baka meron sila from captiva owners na nagpalit ng mags. they usually have new or 2nd hand magwheels and tires. chek na lang kung ano bagay. you can go for 18 inch or 20 inch gaya nung kay jnaynes.

yes, tried that before sa starex ko and i think they also have a cleaner na tanggal yung oily stains from car shampoos which causes poor visibility during rains kasi parang ang dulas ng wiper di makalinis. meron din silang parang rain-x.

plan ko po pa-angel eyes and smoke yung headlights, iniisip ko pa po kung pa hid ko yung hi and lo kasi po automatic yung sa lights sa captiva, and ang sabi po kasi sakin nung nagpakabit ako sa altis ng ganyan, wag daw masyado magblink ng ilaw or on/off kasi madali mapundi yung hid pag ganun.. ano po ba masasabi nyo? and hindi po ba mavoid yung warranty ng captiva pag nagpa-install?

Hello, Has anyone been using the new Captiva CRDi 7 seater? I would like to know your experiences about this car if possible. When I saw it in the mall today, it seems I already liked it inside and out. I like the two additional seats at the back. Eventhough the say it look a bit congested at the back, surely those two seat will be a big help should there be a need for extra two people every now and then. Also its CRDi so i think this car has everything i want for a midsize suv.

Because I'm seriously considering to buy one, please advse which dealer has the best package? Im leaning toward low DP with all-in promo if there is.

Also please share your experiences as to its power, acceleration, gas consumption and maintenance cost.

Any information about this car will be appreciated.

Difference lang naman i know would be the additional seats and different wheels. My experience with my 2 year old captiva is pretty much okay naman except for the following problems i encountered:

- kalampag sa rear which casa fixed
- gear stuck sa Park and once i used the release latch naka engage ang brakes. They changed a switch sa brakes.
-busted brake light sa left rear(changed twice)
-kumakabig na steering. pinalit yung 4 wheels na stock to good year ng casa but after a year or so oblong na yung sa likod. Fortera kasi e, hindi daw maganda yung model na yun.
-bulb in glove compartment is always lighted. Cause is worn out rubber for the switch located sa rear ng compartment.
-changed battery (more than 15 months and/or 20thousand kilometers na so hindi na daw covered ng warranty)

More than the problems i encountered sa Captiva, my frustration is sa service ng Chevrolet Makati.
When i tried to have my wheels changed, ayaw na nila coz more than 2000 kilometers na daw. When i had the brake problem, inayos nila but it happened to me twice. And finally when i tried to have the battery replaced, out of warranty na. But since pinalit yung battery, kailangan input yung code sa radio. Turns out wala yung code sa service manual ko. Called and ask Mike of Service and he said he'll get back to me, pang 2nd day na ngayon wala pa. So i had to look for it myself sa mga records ko. Luckily nakita ko sa isang card na binigay ng Sales agent. I'm not expecting Mike will ever call me again about that code. Yun ang mabigat dun. You spend so much for the car and you get this kind of service!

I just bought a captive 2 and half months ago although it is a brand new car I was ver disappointed I was very disappointed in it before I even got it release m nakita ako na mga rust sa ilalim ng almost lahat ng nakadisplay sa showroom well sabi naman ng sales agent pwede naman daw ipapaint un minor lang sakin cge ok lang naman ok naman ang package kasi na nabigay sakin after sometime I went back to the casa to get the car release na talaga my nakita naman ako na dent or scratch sa grill na hood which they change naman din agad so I thought minor lang naman and maybe got scratch lang when moving the car or moving things near it and thought it was problem free na dahil brand new car siya.

On my first month I encountered the ff problems na agad
- Busted horn change it twice sa casa
- Wheel alignment
- Muffler alignment
- Rust ulit sa underchasis (markings daw un sabi nila pero kulay kalawang sa brand new car??)
IF TITIGNAN NIYO KAHIT SA SHOWROOM LANG ALMOST LAHAT MERON NA MGA GANITO PROBLEMS

On my second month I encountered for me MAJOR NA pero minor lang daw sabi ng casa lokohan na talga e
- Aircon not cooling well or not cooling after a period of time (nagfreeze kasi ang suction pipe niya)
- Shift release lever makes squeaking sound tsaka maluwag na parang matatangal na talga siya sa shift lever. (pinalitan naman ng casa the problem is tinangal ang buo center console hindi ko lang alam kung pati dashboard but I saw scratches sa side din after ibalik sakin deep scratches)
7 times me banck and forth for the past two and half months para lang maayos yan dami sira considering brand new

Bought it as a brand new car masakit sakin mga ganyan na prob. Early on laki ba naman ng investment ko dyan so I complain and ask for a replacement dahil hndi na ako ok sa mga problems ng car what if nagloko yan habang nasa highway ako o magloko ulit ung shift lever d nastuck na cya sa isang position either reverse, drive or park niyan. Tapos aircon pa knowing it was summer kelangan talaga na ok aircon khit hindi naman dpat ok na lahat yan dahil bago ang nabili ko ang sabi ng management ng dealer kausapin ko daw ang importer/distributor which is the covenant car company it took me a week bago makakuha ng result na pangkukulit sakanila pinapasa nila ako sa dealer at ang dealer pinapasa naman ako saknila BASTUSAN nmn yata ganon pero ang decision daw ng distributor is ayaw nila e replace so I ask for extended warranty and some free pms for the trouble na binigay nila sakin time and gas, pero d daw major un so it is not in their principle and my tinakbo na daw yung car d na daw mababa yung takbo from the original 10km ang laki BS niyan pano mo malalaman kung my siraq yung car kung d mo papatakbuhin tsaka binili yan para gamitin hndi e display sa bahay irereplace lang daw nila yan kung major na daw talaga pero kung kaya daw repair repair lang daw ng repair sh!t tlga yanby major daw for them is life threatening situation hihintayin pa talaga nila ganun.

Ang masasabi ko lang bad ang service bad pa yung product ng chevy d ko naman mabebenta dahil depreciate agad. Hopefully wala na lang muna problems.

Yan ang problema sa Chevy eh. Kasi minsan nagkaka ganyan ang unit kasi matagal na naka-stock lang. Sobra parin bagal ng sales nila.

Ang pinaka malaking problem pa, walang matinong casa ang Chevrolet. Lahat mga b*b* at di marunong.

Mag Santa Fe na lang kayo kaysa Captiva! Lapit na ng price at di hamak mas mura maintenance ng Santa Fe at mas maganda pa ang CRDi ng Hyundai kaysa VCDi ng Chevy... I am not saying Hyundai service is perfect or even above average pero palatable naman...
