Great you are enjoying your captiva. Yung nakuha mo ba is with the oem dvd with gps? How is the GPS? Is it up to date? What map are you using? Did it also come with a reverse camera? Can you take pics of your DVD GPS unit? Plano ko rin kasi kumuha ng DVD GPS pero might source it out online plus the camera. Gusto ko lang makita unit mo if it's the same as the one's in the internet.

the color is black sapphire... bilis madumihan pero machong-macho ang dating with front and back garnish (+5K)... next ko pagiipunan yung side mirror garnish..

fuel economy is so great... 1k (23liters) diesel... good for all day driving

Congratulations on your new car and also w/ your fantastic fuel mileage!! My dream someday is to own a brand new white/black captiva..but for now I guess my "Scarlett" red spark will do!

opo... nakuha ko poiyon ng nakapackage na,, touchscreen with BT,GPS,TV tuner,Radio, back-upcamera and sensor.

Map? medyo nde ko po gamit ung GPS kasi nde pa po ako nag-gagala ng todo.. puro work-house-mall plng )

(Tonneau cover) Did you mean the retracting cargo cover? Ano model ng Captiva mo? Wala ba cover yung sa 7 seaters? Meron ako sa 5 seater ko pero tinanggal ko kasi meron na ako 3rd row seats. Do you need one?

So far no complains with my Captiva with almost 80K on the odo. Yes, 7 seater na mga Captiva ngayon. It's vcdi for common rail with VGT turbo. Power is good enough for me. Madyo maingay lang engine niya compared to a Santa Fe or Tucson diesels. Though mas tahimik siyempre than older diesel cars. Seats lang medyo matigas but remedied with good leatherette seatcover. Ride is good and not matagtag. Aircon not the best of the lot and wala siya for the 3rd row though sa Malaysia meron ang 3rd row aircon vents.

hi ask ko lang if ano engine oil ang gamit niyo for captiva diesel, right now im using motul crdi specific but it cost around 700 pesos per liter of oil so thats 4200 for 6 liters of oil ang mahal kasi e, although the performance is good smooth acceleration and ok ang takbo kaso masyado siya mahal for oil na kailangan palitan every 5k kilometers. any suggestion would be good thanks

sa casa ka ba nagpapaPMS? for pure synthetic na oil ganyan talaga price. pwede naman 10k ang next change kaso recommended talaga every 5k. sa casa kasi semi synthetic lang gamit and same price din sa motul mo. if you can gewt semi synthetic na mas mura thenbetter. casa lagi dinadala ng misis ko ang car and dun lahat supplies. pwede naman dala parts and supplies kaso di alam ni misis saan bili. d you have other shops where to bring our Captiva na ok and mas mura service? By the way, nagloko pala starter motor ko. minsan ayaw magcrank. ilang beses mo switch and turn bago umandar. dinala ko sa chevy and kailangan daw palitan. mahal siya. it's around 29k plus labor. wala kasi stock sa seiring. pinarepair ko na lang sa casa 6k daw. sana magaling yung gumawa ng starter.

as of now wala e sa casa pa din ako nagpapaPMS kasi i still need the warranty just change my turbo this april 2011 mag 2yrs pa lang siya and around 25k so tatakot ako baka kung ano pa masira kaya hindi pa ako paayos din sa labas ng casa.
Nagtanong din ako sa iba na pwede magPMS kaso parang hindi confident na mga mechanic na natanungan ko tsaka ayaw ko din e risk mahirap na baka mas mahal pa magastos ko like last time my pinakabitan ako na turbo timer in a well known shop in banawe ang yabang nung nginstall madali lang daw in less than 1 hr. pero it took him 3 hrs. kasi nasira pa niya lock system which activated the anti-theft system ayaw mag start tapos pumotok din yung isang fuse ko sa starter long story short i end up calling chevy para maayos after ko ipatangal ang turbo timer just not to void the warranty din.
sa question mo na pag start ng engine mo once lang ok na nagstart na agad siya

i would recommend ace hardware na lang para sa misis mo yun na yung pinaka convenient para sakanya although mahal pa din siya mas mura pa din siya kaysa sa mga oil sa casa n yung mga oil na gamit sa casa is i think 100% o 150% mark up papalit palit pa sila ng oil nag start sila sa shell- valvoline- (isang german brand oil).

7 liters ang ni rerequire ng casa pero sa manual is 6.25liters lang so lubog sobra yung makina sa oil makes it harder to accelerate and parang nalugi ka ng 1 liter 6 liters of oil kasi sakin ok na para my space to breathe dn base on experience din on trial and error before sa previous car


what brand would you recommend pala for semi synthetic? and what viscosity?

papost din pala dito if sino may alam kung saan pwede mag pa PMS and other repairs out of casa na mas mura thanks

Seriously, maganda ang Captiva. The third row is just useless. Wala pa A/C vents. Hindi ako kasya sa 3rd row eh.
