Well, if you can master it you can be sure almost all the cruze owners here who want to have it leather will need your services! $$$
Sir, hobby ko lang po ang mag-DIY. Nachachallenge kasi ako kung may pagkahirap yong ginagawa and besides, it is toooooo expensive kung magpagawa sa labas.

But once the patterns are completed, then madali na lang talaga tahiin, however, my problem really is, I can't still find this "leather needle" which perhaps causes the "skips".

Yes it's not so bad, you'll just have to tell the guards in the mall/subdivision/hotel etc.. everytime, sometimes they just give up and let me go in without checking trunk since my car is brand new.

Trunk release inconvenience, but you're enjoying everything about the car yes?

anyway, i can't comment sa cruze pero i can comment sa chevy pasig...

Pareho tayo, this will be my first car & first time driver din ako at wala pang alam sa kahit ano tungkol sa cars. I will be getting an auto loan this NOV, hinihintay ko lang yung bonus namin sa NOV 15

    We can see it as:
    1. Pasig branch's marketing is successful in selling their place as the de-facto place to buy the Cruze(or any chevy vehicle for that matter) that's parts will (sometimes) not be available.
    2. Or.. they really don't have that much parts/accessories to begin with hence they're sourcing this from other branch.

#1 sounds like a spin though, #2 isn't acceptable since their(TCCI) spiel for the Cruze and other chevy vehicle is that they want to give the whole experience when owning a chevy car.

    So which is which?

Whatever your choice of car, the car itself is not the final thing. You have to consider the car company behind the car because they will have to support your car ownership & maintenance for the next few years.

Do they have a good reputation? Are replacement parts quickly available or do you have to wait weeks? Is labor (for jobs done at the casa) and parts priced reasonably or overpriced like you have money overflowing out of your pockets?

Mismo! The reason I started this thread.

The car themselves is just (big)part of the process the other (major)part(s) is the company behind it.

Personally I still have my reservations AGAINST Chevy because of the experience my brother had with his Chevy Venture.

If you are still unconvinced with the supposedly "new" Chevy company, best to go the safe route and choose a car of another brand.

Yep and while I'm convinced that the Cruze is a very good first car, I'm wary of it's company hence this thread. But yes I do have the Lancer EX GLX and Fiesta 1.6 Trend/S in my short list, but that will be a different thread ;)

    This is great topic!

Let me comment about parts availability. Chevrolet Pasig is the central parts depot for Shaw, Alabang and Laguna. We do share thesame stock to service our customers better but here in Pasig is where the most parts are. It shouldn't be a problem which dealer within our group you order the parts.

TCCCI stocks of parts for the Cruze - stocks of parts are continuously arriving to improve the fill rate. TCCCI cannot afford to loose on this car in terms of parts availability. This is the flagship model that will determine the reputation of TCCCI as Chevrolet Philippines. I'm putting my bet on this as I see the dedication of the people behind TCCCI aftersales group.

Amen to this ghosthunter. I feel obligated on your statement and feel strongly for the brand.

The PMS cost I posted in the other thread is the TCCCI recommended schedule. It should be followed. If other dealers are charging you higher, you can print the list and show it to them. Provincial dealers usually charge higher due to shipping cost. But it should not be much.

Notice we are giving free services here in Chevy Pasig? Because we can. We can with the cost it entail. Not hard on the pocket but benefits the buyer the more!

Finally from an official Chevy dealer!

I'm grateful that your branch is the most active(at least online) in marketing/supporting the Cruze, should I push through with my purchase it'll definitely be in your branch. (From the other thread it seems half of the Cruze owners bought from you guys)

If and only if you can disclose, what are the complaints you guys got regarding the Cruze?

    Just an update boys.

Sent email to TCCI yesterday and texted Mr. Hernandez today. No response yet for both.

Latest info from dealer is that they have no info when parts will come in.

    * Sphinx, you might want to advise Mr. Hernandez that other cruze owners and potential buyers might be turned off because of this. Three months and still no car is a very big issue.

They should have learned their lessons by now. 3 months and still not resolved? Hmmmmmm Maybe it's about time to email the major TV stations for this "FLASH REPORT"?

ask for some proof, like order number, emails from the supplier,etc...
baka at the end of the day, hintay ka ng hintay ng piyesa, di pa pala naooorder....
