You also read comments on the air coming from the outside every after some time. It's not a concern for me as I see this as a safety feature for the occupants. It annoys some owners but this is something I cannot compromise due to safety.

Basically these two. But overall, everything is great in the car!

Give us a little more time as we improve our service here in Pasig. I have a new service manager on board and with him around, we'll be much better in terms of service and customer satisfaction.
Thanks for the disclosure, that's what I've gathered from the owner's complaints so far, you're (probably)right they're annoyance rather than defect.

Again, let me state I have nothing but admiration and lust for this vehicle since reviews here and abroad are great, the concern of mine primarily is the aftersale because of the stigma of Chevy Phil of the past here's hoping that this has changed.

The new Spark and upcoming Aveo borrowed some styling elements from this Concept car.

I guess the concept car was meant to preview the look of future small GMDAT Chevys.

    Isn't that surface rust?
Rust usually forms on the brake rotors when the car is not used for a while, specially after it gets wet.
When you use the car often, the brake rotors get cleaned when you use the brakes.

I won't disappear from the discussion with the reasons you mentioned. The more that I will be part of it.

    sun and the beach yun.....

You'll have the parts best available within the week sir. Except for the airbag that may come after as Chevy Alabang complete the body and mechanical repairs.

Most of the parts came in with the other stocking items for the Cruze.

These are surface rusts on the rotors. No need to worry as this is usual to rotors specially coming from the rain or wet roads.

Just ran the car and step on the brakes to remove the rust.

*Lokar04, I agree with AG4, the "rust" you see on the brake rotors is due to water. I normally see these on all my cars after the driver cleans the cars na hindi masyado ginagamit. Hindi mo lang mapapansin ito from the car wash because umandar ka na agad, malamang nag-evaporate na yung water sa rotors.

*Resident Evil, I learned that the PO from Westgate for your collision parts was just received by TCCCI this month. That was indeed a long delay. The situation is being investigated & hopefully will be resolved soon. It is just unfortunate na sa iyo nangyari ito sir. Sana maayos na sa madaling panahon. Don't lose faith as the contacts we have made in the organization are already looking into these. They heard about your problem Friday night na kasi. Since walang work over the weekend & the barangay election holiday yesterday, they were only able to check on this today. At least may results ka nang natanggap from them.

    Chevy doesn't disappoint my expectations.

So is this a preview of more to come in the future for all Cruze owners?

*Bonskijr, the Cruze is an exceptional car from GM. Someone mentioned in this thread that it is GM's flagship car & the Cruze does have a lot of features going for it. However, cars are never perfect & can never satisfy everyone, so even those who love a particular car model or car brand is bound to experience something negative. But it is the overall experience & joy we get from owning one that will eventually determine if we are happy owners.

It is unfortunate that GM Philippines has not done a good job in taking care of the venerable GM brand in the Philippines. For those of you who can remember, GM was one of five original participants in the Car Manufacturing Program during the Marcos era, when they brought in the Holden vehicles from Australia, Opel cars from Germany, & Isuzu cars from Japan. It was a great start but sadly not enough & the company folded.

The "new" GM Philippines (don't know if they are related with the first one) didn't fare too well either.

The people behind TCCCI are totally different from the 1st two GM companies. They were at the forefront of the Philippine automotive industry in the years after the war. They have over 60 years of experience, and though they have a tough job of resurrecting the brand, it is not an impossible task. What is admirable is that they took up the challenge despite knowing how difficult it was. And that is why I am confident of their success.

My apologies for the long post, I just wanted to share what I knew of the car industry, however limited my knowledge is.
