Planning on getting an HID retrofit

Kaya nga gusto kong makakita ng side by side ng stock halogen/HID/LED vs PnP LED para makita talaga which has better road lighting (not just sheer silaw).

Parang namimili yung PnP leds ng housing. For example dun sa pics ng everest ni glen, mukhang maganda output, pero sa iba hindi na

Baka di na ako upgrade to hella projectors. Kasi I have to shell out another 10K (for another set of ballasts, harness and shrouds para di masayang ung q5 ko)

So retain na lang ung Q5 then going to pair it with osram cbi's na lang.

Pwede naman po kayo mag palit lang ng projector pero same ballast and igniter pa rin.
But ok naman ata output ng q5 lalo na if cbi gamit mo.

Saw in Facebook ang mga works ni Firedrake Lightings, based on it looks quality din sya magtrabaho...with proper toolings/equipment...me taga Tsikot na kayang makapag verify if really good siya?

Meron ata costumer dito from firedrake. Try mo back read sa thread na to. Ok naman mga feedbacks nila at marami na rin silang repairs na ginawa galing sa mga hindi reputable installer. Also di lang ako sure pero parang meron na sila atang 3d printer para sa custom jobs nila.

Try mo na lang muna ang nhk sir if di ka kontento then thats the time palit ka hylux.
Naka nhk+philips 85122 combo din ako dati at ok naman output, though naka fxr 3.0 lang ako na projector that time.
Pero kung sa ballast lang siguro IMO it doesnt give you a very big difference, but I might be wrong. I said this dahil last time nung nasira ang sa may passenger side ko na nhk ballast and di ako naka kuha ng pamalit na nhk ballast from redline, bumili na lang ako ng mga cheap chinese ballast na available sa area ko para lang may magamit ako since nasa probinsya ako. And almost wala ako makita na difference in output sa driver and passenger side na HL. So its either hindi magkakalayo ang tech ng nhk at ibang chinese brand ballast or malabo lang mata ko na hindi ko makita ang difference

kung bulb ang pag uusapan iba talaga ang gawa ng philips or osram if compare mo sa mga chinese made bulbs not to mention high UV of cheap chinese hid bulbs . Kahit ang mga morimoto bulbs ay pwede makipag sabayan sa intensity ng philips at at osram pero sa longevity naman tagilid ang morimoto bulbs.

Was supposed to get Philips bulbs for my Mazda 3 but si Tots na mismo nagsabi na hindi malaki difference sa regular NHK bulbs niya for my Q5 setup.

yes tama po observation nyo sa projector test ng lightwerkz kahit ako nag taka din pero sa mga realworld output shot sa headlight junkies fb group d2s 4.0 parati ang bida. Pero the readings is not the end of the story kaya famous ang d2s 4.0. Ang lux meter ay nilagay just below the step. Sa pag pili ng hid projectors di lang po kasi reading ng hotspot binabasehan. You have to consider beam width, hotspot width, may streaking ba or wala, type of cut-off, size and dimensions, ease of installations are some of the aspects when choosing a projector and also the price. Ako nga gusto ko sana oem projectors like 4tl or rx350 for its wide beam patern and hotspot pero di magkasya sa headlight ko. So I have to go with d2s 4.0.
Maraming ayaw sa step ng d2s 4.0 dahil masyado daw steep kaya minomodify ng iba ang shield nila. Naging famous ang d2s for its sharp cut-off and almost oem-like high beams.

here is a low beam of my d2s 4.0 and philips 85122 xv c1 bulb with morimoto xb35 ballast. About 4-5meters from the wall.

Mag Keon sondra ka nalang.. 5.8k lang..... way better than any Retrofit.. sa light output...

My 11k Ks led.. mas malakas pa sa 55k na Hid retrofit..

We did a comparo... and without blingking... everyone voted 11k worth of KS Led is way better... than a 55k Hid Retro..
