I'm very vocal against headlight that is not properly installed for road safety issues but I'm also quick to accept the idea if the fact and evidence ay pinakita na sa akin. And in this case a stand corrected dun sa ks led projector headlight ni glenn. I mean sa wall shot sa pic you can see that the cut off is good and the step is great. Heck, mas gusto ko pa nga yung step nya kaysa d2s 4.0 ko.
Kaya ganun na lang ang reaction ko dati sa ks led its because sa page nila is puro sabog ang mga naka post na pics. Mas maganda ata *glenn manikis yung wall shot mo gamitin ng ks led for their marketing kaysa yung mga naka low beas pero mga sabog par rin ang output.

I know mas makita ang hotspot sa low beams if medyo maganda ang setting ng camera nya but android gamit nya dyan inside his car. Not sure sa price ng set up nya but sa ganitong outputs medyo may ka kumpetensya na ang mga low to mid level entry ng mga hid kits. And good news to sa mga consumer. more options means cheaper price.

How about kung halogen projectors then nilagyan ng KS led bulb? What is the output then?

Not sure about the specs of the projector, led bulb and driver. Guess we just have to ask *glenn manikis for the specs of his headlight since output shot lang last time yung discussion namin.

Same banana. Kung halogen reflector ung pinaglagyan, ng led bulb nya, may glare pa din yan. Kung malaki or maliit na glare, no one can say.

Intensity nandoon siguro with the led. Kung may D2S siya na led and may necessary harness to make it work. I want to try.

Yup a small glare is still a glare. Pero kursunada ko ang step nila but then again no details on the projector or the cut-off shield or the bulb.
Medyo vague pa kasi ang specs ng ks. Compare sa mga ibang known brands kasi is may specifics talaga on what type of projector, bulb, driver etc. Meron isang pics dun sa page with similar cut-off and step sa kay glenn pero ang na kasulat lang is "myth buster led on hid projector" and thats it wala na ibang info it doesnt even say how far it was from the wall. Mapapansin mo rin sa wall shot na yun is yung light before sa edge ng hotspot is wala ng cut-off and nag start na mag spread pa taas meaning narrow ang cut-off nya and usually the cut-off shoud extend as far as possible but not before the edge of the hotspot. I think this is because of the optics, if the projector was not designed specifically for that led bulb kaya ganun ang output.
This is just my observation.

Kaya gusto ko din matry yan ks led sa q5 projectors. Kasi alam ko may available na d2s bulb yan ks led na 4300K

Sa ganyang kalayo na kuha maganda din cutoff ng oem projectors ko, pero pag 2-3m sa wall kita na may glare dahik dun sa squirrel finder ba tawag dun

Have to order a new set of projectors. So naka halogen na lang ako ngayon in the meantime.

Have to order a new set of projectors. So naka halogen na lang ako ngayon in the meantime.

so it's going to be g5 then?

I think walang projectors ang ks. Wala ako makita sa page nila puro led bulbs lang.

Yup, no choice but to upgrade na to G5. Paolo gave me a good deal. Hehe

On a lighter note, garahe na muna itong car na ito since naka halogen na lang siya. Ung isang car na muna gagamitin ko na naka-Q5 din un. Hehe

Unless kakabitan nya ng ks led yung naka q5 na other car nya maganda yan at makikita natin actual output ng ks led sa q5 projector hahaha.

Sa case ko, pag nakabitan na ko ng q5, un philips ang ilalagay ko. Wait ko mapundi un bago ako magtry ng ks led. Actually di lang naman si ks ang merong ganyang kalakas na led, si led lights ph meron din, dual color pa, pedeng 6000k o 3000k un color temp

haha. medyo busy lang. nag shift focus ko sa detailing . ngayon lang ulit mag upgrade ng projectors. I miss my quad bi-xenon set-up.

Ako din naging busy. Biking pinagkaabalahan ko tapos clean look setup na lang ako sa auto. Oem setup na lang. Basta properly maintained na lang ako sa auto
