    Thanks.

I just have a peculiar observation with my conversion. Mine is a 1.3L carburated engine. before conversion, i was averaging 7.5km/l city driving on petrol. after conversion, i am now averaging 10.3km/l which contrary to all i have read about getting 10% lower km/l on lpg as compared to petrol.

i haven't changed my driving route, time or habits. i asked a friend of mine who had a similar vehicle and he tells me that he was also getting 7-8 km/l on petrol city driving.

Most likely the newer injector/carb system of the LPG is more efficient than your old carburator.

Old carburated engines are notoriously inefficient... especially if they've racked up a lot of kilometers, already. You might want to clean your carb or have the jetting checked... see if you can get it close to the efficiency of the LPG kit...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

but i still average around 6.7 km per liter of LPG mixed city and highway driving kapag highway mga 8 km per liter

I tried using a carb cleaner several times during change oil/tuneup but the consumption remains the same. Maybe the jets need adjustment but I don't want to spend anymore $$$ on it. I'd rather use it to by LPG fuel instead....

A LPG system isn't cheap even if the fuel is... it will cost you PHP24K (and up) for a kit.

    Hello to everybody...

    I'm new here sa tsikot...

    Mga ka-tsikot na LPG users...

Toyota Carina (1450cc) 1987 carb. type ang pina-convert ko sa AMBIent QC. * P24k. Ok naman takbo ng kotse. Average fuel consumption 8km/li.

Tanong ko lang kung meron dito gumagamit ng AIE o Air Intake Equalizer na gadget? Ok ba performance sa LPG system?

    Salamat sa response...

nope.. I haven't even heard of such. I assume its a device meant to compensate for the condition of the air filter so the air:fuel ratio entering the engine will not become richer as the air filter gets clogged with dirt?

Got mine for 22K NAIADDS. at the rate it's going, ROI should be around 10 months.

well, the ROI depends on the milage you do in your vehicle. More kilometers in a month means shorter ROI time.

I went out of town the last few days... I got over 463km from 46L of LPG. Driving style was relatively conservative at 100kph to 120kph with bursts of acceleration for overtaking.
