Well, I think the news the past couple of day have been covering the petition to roll back LPG, so I think bababa din yan.
The auto-LPG prices has gone down a bit in the last couple of weeks.
Any updates on tsikot.com LPG users?
So far my car has been running well.
I just had my car converted last week. 1.3L carburated. So far so good. Cost per liter at NAIADSS was P24.20. Is this low already?
Saw a white Picanto taxi kanina with LPG sticker sa likod, grabe magkano lang kaya nagagastos nya sa gaso hehe
Open na pala yung lpg conversion place sa ortigas home depot, deside big berts. I checked the place this am. Owner was not there but was able to talk to the installers.
Name of company: Green Autogas.
Kit: Aldesa brand from Turkey but their tanks are locally sourced. Saw made in RP mark on the tank.
They have 3 kinds of kits: carb, efi and sequential injection.
I copied their price list, negotiable daw sabi nung installer.
Carb 24,000
EFI 27,000
Sequential injection ( comes with ECU, and injectors ) 4 cylinder 52,000, 6 cylinder 68,000, 8 cylinder 90,000![]()
Here is the link to the website of Aldesa

Hello everyone
(I didn't read the entire thread, please don't kill me hihihi)![]()
I'm just wondering how much ang conversion to LPG? Let's say for Vios J or Sentra GX (both will be brand new, 1.3L, pang taxi). I'm afraid na pag hindi ako nag LPG, the drivers will ask for a much lower boundary.
Also, baka may ma-refer kayo na mahusay magconvert to LPG.
Thanks mga boss.
ok, we'll just do it short of kill you...![]()
Basically the prices based on NAIADSS:I'm just wondering how much ang conversion to LPG? Let's say for Vios J or Sentra GX (both will be brand new, 1.3L, pang taxi). I'm afraid na pag hindi ako nag LPG, the drivers will ask for a much lower boundary.
carb: P24,000
efi (1.6L and smaller engine displacement): P28,000
BTW, it is possible to negotiate a slight discount if you have more than one car to be installed with their LPG kit.
as I see it, you should go to a LPG installer that is nearby because you will be sending your cars there periodically for adjustments or retuning of the LPG system. Also, baka may ma-refer kayo na mahusay magconvert to LPG.
my car is a sentra 1.3L FE. Conversion at NAIADSS was P22K. So far on my first full tank of 50 liters (85% of 60 liter tank) has ran 320km on the trip meter and the reading on the digital guage says 35% left.. This is daily commute QC to Makati 9-5 work.
I'll wait for 3 cycle full tanks before I give my verdict on cost savings versus petrol.
My butt dyno tells me a slight power less for RPMs higher than 2,500 but not discernable below that.
if you would like to get back some of that lost HP, you can adjust your ignition timing by advancing it five to ten degrees more than factory setting.
Note: if you do use regular gasoline with the ignition setting advanced, the engine will run rough. But if your car does have some sort engine knock sensor, you can savely switch fuels anytime.
to ghost hunter:
kamusta ang km /liter mo? ilan ang rating mo??
to chuaed:
how about you ilan na ang km /liter rating mo?
did you get your tank checked already is it still carrying more than 50 liters on a full tank?
This is getting really wierd.
On petrol, I used to do average 7.58km/l. Actually one time I was waiting for my fuel guage to light up before heading for the gas station and I realized the hard way that the bulb was already busted already so I actually ran out of gas!!! Good thing the nearest station was just across the street. . The trip meter read 340km so, obviously, that's the furthest I can run my car on a full tank till empty.
Now my trip meter reads 398.7km and the digital guage still reads 30%!I haven't changed my route to and from work, no long distance trips and same driving habits.
???
if you ran on LPG on stock ignition timing, it would be like running on gasoline with your timing retarded which results in less power and lower engine efficiency. In theory, you should have a percentage gain in fuel economy.
The reason why you need to advance your timing is because the flame front of LPG is slower than gasoline. So LPG needs to be ignited earlier than gasoline.
