"draining"? Why would you need to drain a tank?
Need more info... baka defective yung installation kaya di-ne-drain.

LPG contains a bit of moisture which will accumulate in the tank and in the evaporator/heater. Given taxi cabs need to refuel everyday or every other day, water will displace a bit of the tank's volume eventually. But venting the LPG tank should have been done in an open area.
Oh... user error, then?
On a brighter note, there's already an autogas station for us Q.C./Pasig peeps on C5, southbound right before the Pasig flyover. Still haven't checked prices. At least it'll make it easier when I finally decide to jump (probably with a secondary car, not the Lynx).

NAIADSS told me that I only need to change my oil, oil filter and spark plugs every 10,000 km now that I am using LPG.
Is this really ok? I am quite worried because it might harm my engine. I don't mind changing at 5,000km because the cost is not really that high since I just use ordinary engine oil.
If i remember correctly, you are supposed to drain the moisture once a year. I belive its a simple DIY job, at least thats what I was told by Naiadss. They said you just need to open a valve or something. I do know that they can do it for you.
Just change the oil every 5000 kms for peace of mind.
not sure, check if your LPG kit has the big cylinder thingie that has four hoses, two routes hot water from the radiator and back to it and two others are for the LPG.
If you do, then you'll need to drain it too at the proper intervals.
nope. EFI type LPG systems have their own injectors.does the lpg pass through the same injectors that the petrol uses?
Non-EFI type LPG systems use a carb type donut-like adapter fitted at the engine's air intake.
so how do they do it, bore new holes on the cylinder head to accomodate the new injectors?
Thanks.
I just have a peculiar observation with my conversion. Mine is a 1.3L carburated engine. before conversion, i was averaging 7.5km/l city driving on petrol. after conversion, i am now averaging 10.3km/l which contrary to all i have read about getting 10% lower km/l on lpg as compared to petrol.
i haven't changed my driving route, time or habits. i asked a friend of mine who had a similar vehicle and he tells me that he was also getting 7-8 km/l on petrol city driving.
Most likely the newer injector/carb system of the LPG is more efficient than your old carburator.
Old carburated engines are notoriously inefficient... especially if they've racked up a lot of kilometers, already. You might want to clean your carb or have the jetting checked... see if you can get it close to the efficiency of the LPG kit...![]()

22.50 dyan sa auto lpg along shaw boulevard before you turn to nueve de pebrero
i just had my oil change and medyo nag improve ang fuel efficiency ng lpg system
but i still average around 6.7 km per liter of LPG mixed city and highway driving kapag highway mga 8 km per liter
Hello to everybody...
I'm new here sa tsikot...
Mga ka-tsikot na LPG users...
Toyota Carina (1450cc) 1987 carb. type ang pina-convert ko sa AMBIent QC. * P24k. Ok naman takbo ng kotse. Average fuel consumption 8km/li.
May Free tune-up pa for every P1,000 fuel purchase...(carb. type vehicles only) up to 9pm. FYI.![]()
