I went out of town the last few days... I got over 463km from 46L of LPG. Driving style was relatively conservative at 100kph to 120kph with bursts of acceleration for overtaking.
LPG users,
Ask ko lang kung may difference ba ang performance ng mga different brands ng LPG? Say Petron vs NAIADSS vs Autogas LPG vs Seaoil and others like Clean City?
Na notice ko kasi na may mga new players nanagbebenta ng auto lpg.
good day,
rode in 2 cabs recently this month. i was askin the drivers how come they haven't converted to lpg yet when most cabs are doing so. he said according to other cab drivers fumes tend to leak in the cabin causing nausea. is this true kaya? could this happen? has anyone here experienced this? so given the choice both said they would rather stick to gas![]()
hello everyone!
newbie here
alin po kaya ang pinaka-ok na lpg conversion company?(when it comes to service, technology, aftermarket support, etc.)
which one offers computerized diagnostics, tuning, dyno, etc.?
Re: draining and cleaning LPG tanks. One auto technician told me na hindi basta basta ginagwa yan. a slight spark while draining can trigger explosion. pinapatay daw sa vinegar (or other chemical soaks, im not sure on this one) ang inside ng tank para by the time na iddrain sha it wil not be that volatile.
just sharing![]()
The best auto-LPG kit is the sequential injection LPG system, which basically a individual port fuel injection system for LPG. It even gives your engine a slight boost in power as compared to running on gasoline. Downside is it cost at least twice as much as the typical LPG system available at NAIADSS or other LPG installers.
NAIADSS price for 1.6L EFI conversion is around P28K.
You have a budget in mind for your LPG conversion?
best to have the tank draining done at the LPG service stations and not DIY. So far I haven't done a system drain. Based on my computations, I should be due by August of this year.
But putting vinegar inside the tank... how does that make the LPG less volatile? Won't it just lead to rust forming on the inside of the tank and possible acidic fluid contamination to the rest of the LPG system?
The LPG kit for EFI engines and carb engines are almost the same (given the Korean type conversion kits). The difference is the injector bypass box which disables the engine's fuel injectors if you are running on LPG. If you dont have fuel injectors, there is nothing to bypass.
There is the Italian EFI LPG kit that costs at least P60K. I dont think you can fit that to a carb engine either because I think it takes the stock injector signals for fire it's LPG injectors.
