March 26th, 2014 06:14 AM #62Mahal nga. I googled ISUZU price list and it shows that a 4W NKR cab chassis is 1,018,000 while the 2.7 ton version is 1,120,000 plus the aluminum van. With brand new, your almost sure to get a good unit. With recon, we dont know what parts they used and replaced. If your lucky the recon will be almost as good as a new unit. If not you might be buying a headache.
Personally, I'll go for the new unit. Had enough problems with second hand trucks. If you can't come up with enough money for a cash purchase, one can always finance. I think interest rates are around 7% a year.Last edited by userfriendly; March 26th, 2014 at 06:16 AM.

Mag 1 yr na FE71 namin. So far wala naman problem. It also replaced our old surplus Canter which has served us well.
Problem kasi sa marketing ng Isuzu 4W NKR (4300kg gross wt) is only 2.8L.

Thanks for the tip basti! Our company was about to buy the NKR bec. the NHR is underpowered for our cargo requirements (heavy cargo only - not light and bulky stuff). I find our country's regulations a bit odd. NKR and NHR are dimensionally similar (except for the 4.6Li in the NKR) yet NKR is now considered part of the truck ban just bec. it has a more capable payload? An NPR ( a six wheeler) is understandably part of the truck ban. But an NKR?! sheesh
What if its NKR with the FB type body ? Is it still part of the truck ban ?

We also looked at buying Sobida until I read about this....

I also know somebody who bought an Isuzu N series with FB body two years who is now using a local brand new Isuzu NKR with FB body.

Kaya yan ng 1.085M yung 4 Wheels ;)
I dunno with the FB body type. Pero yung amin is aluminum van kasi. Isuzu used to offer a 3.6L 4W na 4300GVW (Turbo, i think) before kaso tinanggal nila.

March 26th, 2014 11:36 AM #69The reason I asked for the prices of brand new units dahil ang average age ng mga 4 wheeler trucks dito sa amin is around 20 years already although in good running condition pa naman (Canter and Isuzu NKR) but then kahit anong sabihin mo 20 years old is still 20 years old and some has already logged as high as 600,000km on the clock, was thinking of gradually replacing our fleet with the Canter FE71 kasi ang mahal na rin nung surplus, eh kung China truck din lang naman I'll just stick with our old trucks.

Kung walang spare tire, invest on a Inflator kaysa sa sealant. Inflate the flat tire +10 psi than...
Liquid tire sealant
