So far this is the cheapest 2.3L Tribute I can find: 05-series MAZDA TRIBUTE 4X2 A-T - Cars for sale NCR - AyosDito.ph don't fret, negotiable pa yan. With some prayer, you'd most likely be able to slash at least 20-30k, maybe even 50k.
Ayaw mo nung Starex with dual sunroof? Hehe~

Sir, there's another option. A Mazda Tribute 2.3L, it has everything the 2.0L XLT but 4x4, 4x2 lang sya so it is lighter but has the sunroof of the 3.0L V6 Escape. The 2.3L plus FWD layout has better power to weight than the 2.0 4x4. So, in any event, i bet the Tribute 2.3L has better performance.
this is the actual interior of a 2.3L model. it has steering wheel audio controls too, not found in the Escape.

Btw, another Tribute exclusive is the puddle lamps, just on the running board (see those 2 separate lights below the doors?). They light your path as you enter and egress the vehicle. There's a small light below the side mirror that lights along with that feature. and it stays open for another 10-15 secs as you leave the car.
neat. It has power antenna versus the standard fix raised antenna of the 2.0 Escape.
(Facelifted 2.3L Escape's has this though)

February 2nd, 2012 05:55 PM #50Ay sayang... Wala na pala. Kung ganon bakit di pa tinanggal?
Oh well. Ganun lang naman yun eh. Tribute 2.3L for fuel efficiency and added features tapos Escape V6 for V6 performance, lower price and better looks. But then in between meron ding Tribute V6 which SHOULD give somewhat better gas mileage as compared to the Escape V6 since its just 4x2. Now regarding the Starex... It is not hard to drive one since maikli naman yung hood and there are backup sensors/backup mirror para dun sa likod. Its not really that long either, being shorter than the average midsize sedan. Its tall too so you have a good view of the road. Turbo diesel engine and high ground clearance means you are not afraid of floods (even when compared to CUVs like the Escape/Tribute).
Though not on a people carrier like the Innova, I have Yokohama es32 equipped on my Sylphy since...
