    from what i understand...
a number of banks, po. and they're not really time deposits, as what the common definition is. more of "investments"..
but they do not openly advertise. you have to ask.
    "prefered clients, yata".

They are UITFs, not time deposits.

Even with 0% interest promo, they give big cash discounts for cash buyers.

True for outgoing models. For hotcakes, they certainly prefer financing.

OT: as I know uitf doesn't guarantee return of your investment. This is just to add clarity, as others might interpret our exchanges on my earlier inquiry re which investment vehicle can provide that interest rate erroneously. Salamat muli.

    yespo.
the usual time deposits that the ordinary tao is familiar with, guarantees returns as stated. but these interests may be deemed as "too low".
"investments" do offer significantly more potential earnings, but there is no guarantee. investor is just as likely to lose as to gain.
and the higher the potential gain, the higher the risks of losing... even the capital!
yes, the bank may say that it is "a sure thing", but only verbally and with fingers crossed behind back.. (heh heh).
he might show investor the performance record of the investment.. but that is the past... the future remains to be seen.

    so who likes to gamble?

Know your financial situation plus the stability of your financial sources when trying to adapt to this mentality. Friendly advise lang po as I am currently browsing through different bank's reposessed list of vehicles which I expect to grow by the late 1st quarter to early 2nd quarter of next year.

if seller refuses to road test, walk away. he is probably hiding something.
sa dami ng used cars for sale diyan...

if seller is willing to drive it to the gas station and have it lifted for a look-see of the underside, the better.

Typical 150k choice is big body 90s corolla and keep change for maintenance.

Feed back nalang po. Salamat ng Marami.

apart from those documents, ask for the motor vehicle clearance certificate from the seller, and, of course, the money to pay for the car.

mvcc is the most important document that you need to have. it is issued by the pnp - highway patrol group. you'll know that the car you're eyeing to buy isn't carnapped. if they can't give it to you, don't the force the issue. look for another one.

sale is a unilateral contract. selling is mainly the act of the seller. so, you, as a buyer, don't need to present yourself before a notary public.

Thanks! At saan ba maganda gawin ang transaction? Sa bahay ng seller or buyer? Dapat kasi may kukunin ako na kotse kanina, tapos nag back out yung kasama ko kasi wala naman daw notary public pag sunday. Nag iingat lang sya.
