Actually that part about OR and CR to follow, is something I'm uneasy about. OR and CR (along with a fully accomplished and notarized DOS) is your proof of ownership. In the absence of those documents together, you will be looking like carnappers. :D
On the other hand, if the owners are really doing the transfer for you, they will need the actual OR and CR to be able to perform the transfer. But do you trust them enough to do as they say esp. after you have completely paid them off?
OR, CR, and DOS should be turned over upon exchange of funds. Its better to handle the transfer yourself if possible.
