sir vinj, mas ok sana ang 320i na model pero ang isa sa mga tinitingnan ko is yung price. yung mga 94 na bimmer na 320i nasa 600k pa. pero yung 94 na 318i na us version na nakita namin 420k lang. may hid na tapos all original na m3 setup. pero nagduda dad ko dun kasi may mga sira na pwede maging sakit sa ulo kapag nabili namin. kaya hangang ngayon pinagiisipan pa rin nya...

Yup, do take it with a grain of salt as there may be problems in the engine. 420K is the going price of a cheap 95 local 316i.

If you want to have a mechanic check it out, you can try the Euro car talyer behind Goodyear Servitek on Timog Ave. The guy seems to know his BMWs from my experience with him.

so far sakin napalitan ko: waterpump, thermostat, thermostat housing, belts. these are all preventative maintenance. Changed the stock ellipsoid headlights to hella angel eyes na rin. i have read on U.S. e36 forums that the 318i are even more reliable than the 6 cylinder bimmers.
the e36 is a great car and has a classic look and stance but if u have the cash, go for an e46 since its newer and better looking.

sir rav7118, actually dad ko naghahanap e... preferably bmw 320 or 325 (1995 to 1998 o 99 basta yung box type) or mercedes benz na c220 (1995 to 1998 din ata) matic ang gusto ng dad ko. sa ngayon, d na namin kukunin yung bmw na 318 since dami talaga sira and baka maging sakit lang sa ulo yun pagkuha namin. every sunday lagi ako nagccheck ng classified ads para sa kotse and still la pa rin makita.hehe

for bnew lang yung... ang hindi lahat ng variants applicable... alam ko 318 M-Sport and higher lang applicable yung 3 gives na promo nila...

I think a dealer has announced this is also true for their Executive cars, those used by BMW Phils. officers, low mileage cars, at discounted rates pa, and with this pay scheme pa.

they have a new promo for the BMW 318i M Sport...

30% down, balance is payable in 5 years - 0% interest!!!

AFAIK, the M Sport is selling for P2.8M... that means a DP of 840K and a monthly payment of P32K for 5 years.

if only they could offer it for the other 318i models... it'll be worth considering...

Wah, sana ganun ren gawin ng ibang car dealers sa aten hehehe! then again, malapit na ata talga lumabas yung all new 3-series especially since there was a media leak (read it somewhere) so no choice BMW but to clear their inventory.
