I brought my BMW for km check up last april well d bill amounted arnd 16k no major parts was REPLACED. Pinalitan lang lahat ng fluids. Yng LABOR NGA PALA ARND 4k8). D good thing here is that my BMW is my everyday car, surprisingly wala cyang damage lahat check s libis if may damage e! pero la nakita, arnd 37,000km n tinakbo ko! I have a 1999 316i LOW MAINTENANCE P TO LIIT ENGINE E. But im warning u if u nid speed dnt buy a 316i. 1 thing that is good in my 316i d magastos s fuel para lng cvic kumain ng gas although malaki yng gas tank mdyo matagal naman gmitin.

vince, thanks for your post. Actually, big chunk of the cost goes to oil. Is it possible to use mineral oil? or systhetic is a requirement? Btw, is it true that you can't tint bmw or else warranty is void? I think I read it somewhere in this forum.

fundy, sana nga possible mineral oil noh! pero alam k hindi e! Pure synthetic lang talaga. Not all the time naman palitan nila oil e alam k if okay pa dagdagan lang nila! kasi yng akin 900+ lng singil nila s oil e. PERO PAG DRAIN NILA LAHAT HA 5K N AGAD YUN!

ABOUT d tint my frend bought a bnew 325i recently ayaw nga daw p tint, pag tinint daw papirmahin k ng papers na they are voiding the waranty of the vehicle. Pero i think with regards 2 the soundsystem lng ata at defoger. Baka daw maapektuhan transmission ng sounds e.

PERO YNG AKIN NAKATINT E!hehe CATZ gumawa. I dint notice any changes on the soundsystem. Pero syempre like all oder cars D m n pede masyado gamitin rear defoger.

Advice ko savor m muna walang tint! Mas maporma, kaya lng ingat s mga kidnapers at yung mga nghaharas s daan! kitangkita e.8)fundy, sana nga possible mineral oil noh! pero alam k hindi e! ilan years ba ang warranty ng BMWs?..sa MB kasi 2 yrs.
kung 2 yrs din sa BMW.so,2 yrs ka rin magtitiis sa init na walang tint?.grabe naman sila.

odel, price ng insurance pala doble na, tapos every change oil, doble rin, este 4X yun price ng oil. hay naku.... di ko na alam kung bmw prospect is still bright.:?

Pansin ko lang sa haba ng listahan, may mga item nang pwedeng i-skip at bilhin na lang sa labas (in short, bring your own). Yung iba pwede mo na lang bilhin kay Joel.

*Coolant (anything with ethelyne glycol will work)
*Brake fluid (basta DOT3 pwede)
*Washer additive
*Alternator Belt (pwede na DAYCO)
*A/C Belt (DAYCO ulit)

Sa Kia dati hinihingi ko yung listahan BEFORE ako magpaservice. Para mabili ko na ang materials and stuff. Overpriced sa casa, eh. Nahihilo ako.

As for the tint, masyadong takot ang BMW dahil embedded sa glass ang antenna ng radio. Parang hindi nila naisip na embedded din ang antenna ng Expedition, Civic ES, and most new cars on the market today. DUH talaga, as in.

Kapag nag-deffoger ka naman, yung TINT ang masisira hindi yung defogger.

iba talaga ang european cars malayong malayo sa jap..in terms of ride and performance..when travelling in first class you pay first class prices!

in our experience mas mura magmaintain ng benz kaysa bmw...dahil maraming gumagawa sa labas ng benz at mas laganap ang piyesa...mas mahal lang nga ang acquisition cost ng benz..

This is not for me. A friend of mine wants to buy a second hand bimmer 1996 model 316i. Nagtataka lang sya bat mura ang benta, around 400K+. Any idea kung meron bang problema tong model na to o talaga lang mura ang resale value ng bimmer?

Mataas ang re-sale value ng Bimmer, baka gusto lang get rid ng owner dahil high maintainance ang German car.
