    Copy that. Thank you!!

Fyi to all - i tried the elevo liquid watermark remover - needs some scrubbing (using the sponge that comes with it) but it works well.

Is Optiseal wiper-friendly? I tried Rain X and my wipers hopped, skipped, and jumped all the way home.

There are, of course, a lot of variables in play, but I've had no problems with Opti-Seal on my car. As always, it would be best to apply any sealant or rain repellent on a well-prepped surface - cleaned with a good glass cleaner and, if possible, clayed to remove any bonded contaminants.

Whew! natapos ko ring basahin 149 pages of detailing info dito. Very interesting indeed.

Btw, I'm from Cebu pala.

O baka may ma suggest kayo na iba that are also superb sa mga white colors.

Hirap talaga mapansin ang kintab kung white or light colors. In these cases the wax is there to protect the paint and keep it from dulling.

Ok na ang Microtex products bai if you're having a hard time looking for Collinite. Apply lang ng -glos uli kung di na sya nag bead then -sliq after every wash. That's what I did before I got my Collinite from a friend in the US.

Lamang lang talaga ang Collinite sa longevity. Yung -glos + Collinite 845 ko two months na and still beading. Alaga lang sa -sliq after every wash.

Not really mahirap mapansin but rather because you don't get that "mirror look" like dark colored cars have when properly maintained. Think about it this way, at least kung may scratches... it's damn hard to see

Since white has minimal depth, I like to go for sealants rather than carnauba waxes. You don't really need the "warmth" of carnauba since hindi siya ganun kahalata on a white surface. However, the Sapphire #SS126 + #815 works really good on white cars. I have it standard on my car and simply boost the wax using a nanosliq every now and then.

*jhnkvn - yong car ko kasi mag two months pa lang as brand new, kailangan ko pa ba rin yong cleaner wax like Sapphire #SS126?
Kung kailangan man, pwede ba yong pre-wax cleaner na rin yong gamitin ko like Sapphire 840, if you're familiar with it,
then finalize it with any good LSP waxes like Collinite 476 or 915?

How true is this?

Paki tulong na rin ng sagot sa ibang gurus dito.

    Tia

For your single-stage concerns, I think it's best if you read this thread: The Lesson White Paint Teaches Us - Auto Geek Online Auto Detailing Forum

If it's brand-new, a cleaner is only optional since wala pa talaga masyado oxidation, wax buildup, bonded contaminants, etc. I'd say just wash the car, clay it and top it with the LSP of choice. I'm familiar with the #840.. in fact I would like it rather than the #SS126 since I believe its cleaning properties is better due to it being a dedicated pre-wax cleaner. However, wala kasi stock yun favorite suking detailer so I went for #SS126 last time around.

In your case, I doubt the difference between the #SS126 and the #840 would be significant seeing your paint is still in top condition. For ease of application, you can simply use the #SS126 since that itself is like a one-step detail (cleaner + wax).

I'll be trying a Microtex Nanosil + 947 next time around to save up on costs.

jhnkvn has addressed most of your concerns. I'll just add one point - to tell if your paint is single-stage or not, take some polish or any product with abrasives (the Collinite Sapphires should do), and apply, with a little passion, into your paint. If it's single-stage, you should see some paint transfer on your applicator - though do note that you might need to apply a little more "passion" with white paint

Here's a good article by Mike Phillips expounding on what I said above: How to Test for Single Stage or Clear Coat Paint

I think that what's been said regarding white paint being mostly single-stage might not apply to our market - different paint regulations, different factories, etc.
