Has anyone tried the soft99 fusso wax? Same price with collinite 915.

If the youtube vids are to be believed then this fusso wax behaves like you have just glass/ceramic coated the car because of its hydrophobicity.

Ordered 1 can na. Will test it out sa mga cars namin sa bahay.

i have not use any soft99 products pero ok mga reviews sa mga detailing sites.

i think any wax that has good water repelling properties is good. you can check naman yung beading or sheeting properties niya once you apply it. test mo lang actual durability niya kung ilang washes bago mag-deteriorate para alam mo kung kelan mo ulit i-re-apply. i bought a wax last month na japanese o korean tatak (forgot the name) which i posted here in the previous pages, ok ang hydrophobic properties niya, maganda nung tag-ulan. but this coming summer months, i'm back to my old carnuaba based waxes...

Car detailing is a really addictive hobby. From choosing and buying products to learning the proper techniques, it's really fun!

Wala lang, naalala ko lang because my car needs to be polished again

Already tried this soft99 fusso wax on our van. Then I washed the van yesterday. Impressed with the hydrophobicity of this wax. As in it rolls off the panel lang.

So next step is one of our vehicle naman. Wash, clay, polish with megs m205 (which I am waiting to arrive pa), IPA wipe down then apply this fusso wax ulit. Might do 2 coatings this time.

I also ordered some Gyeon products from the US. Excited to try out this Gyeon Wetcoat. Not sure what's my procedure going to be, but I'm guessing halos the same as above. Wash, clay, polish then IPA wipedown. Then rinse down the car, spray on this Gyeon Wetcoat then blast with strong stream of water. Instant glass coating on your car. Hehe.

I visited this car wash and they told me if I'd like to have my car waxed with Meguiars mirror glaze synthetic sealant 2.0 for 1k pesos. 3mos daw mag last, para ka rin daw nagpa glass coat? Wala po ako Alam sa detailing, Kaya I'd like to ask you guys if this is any good? Thanks.

The main design of the grit guard is to prevent water agitation. The grit guard has 4 fins at the bottom to prevent the water from moving about as you agitate it in the pail, thus, dirt will simply fall into the mesh, gets trapped in it and stays on the bottom. This DIY grit guard is just a mesh without the fins. It will still move dirt around the pail and you'll just re-introduce dirt back again to your cloth or wash mits.

I just bought two grit guards (Large) from ebay for P1000 (free shipping from China). Saves me the worry whether this DIY grit guards works or not.

I have cut plastic paint pails for spacer under the grit guards, sir. They work like the fin spacers mentioned. Grit is tested to be retained below the guards.[emoji4]

Ordered 1 can na. Will test it out sa mga cars namin sa bahay.
Is it available locally here in PH? Otherwise I will have to order this from amazon.

If it works then I think this should be fine. Basta any method to keep the dirt floating about, ok na yan.

I viewed some YouTube videos yesterday, parang I regret purchasing the grit guard. Lol! A person tested it and grit can still float around in the pail. Kaya lang it's in German.

The cyclone dirt trap performed a lot better. Sana ito nalang binili ko. Sayang!

However, all is not lost because I bought two grit guards and you can actually stack them together to keep dirt down. According to this video, it's effective!

I read in another detailing forum (forgot the link), before dipping the wash mit in the clean water bucket with grit guard, he first cleaned it with running water, para sigurado. After that, he dipped the wash mit in the clean water pail, it's all clear water.

I think I'll be using his method instead, para 100% sure walang grit. The clean water pail is just to make sure that the wash mit is totally free from dirt before dipping it in the soap bucket.

Another approach is to place two grit guards in the clean water bucket and in the car shampoo bucket.
