i find that its easier to remove pag matagal talaga na nag cure KSG... and even better finish pag pinatagal ko ganun.

before mga 2 hours lang punasan ko na, ang hirap tangalin, at hindi ganoon ka kintab compared if i let it sit overnight.

hmmn, this is something new to me. are you sure hindi mahirap tanggalin? at walang haze o streaking sa paint surface? afaik, yung curing (8-12hrs) na tinatawag is after you apply and buff the KSG. very notorious kasi ang KSG na mahirap maalis once matuyo kaya usually pahid-punas agad ang ginagawa. now, since subok mo na pala na pwede patuyuin ng matagal bago punasan then pwede siguro subukan sa isang panel for comparison lang

btw, its not my usual practice to apply sealant or wax kapag galing sa labas ang sasakyan at kapaparada sa garahe. i apply sealant lang kapag bagong polish o wash ang paint surface. as much as possible gusto ko malinis yung paint surface bago patungan ng sealant or wax.

then apply ako KSG... hayaan ko magdamag. around 6-7am next morning i wipe it off with microfiber with a little help ng Q.D...

very easy to remove. tapos mas makintab compared sa pagka apply eh wipe mo agad yung KSG...

and i found that this method seems to make the KSG last longer...

i see, thanks for sharing your actual experience with KSG. its really against the usual norm of KSG application since proven na mahirap talaga tanggalin kapag natuyo. i did try before to apply muna sa whole car bago punasan pero mahirap mawipe off sa part na natuyo na. glad to know pwede din pala hayaan muna matuyo mabuti then wipe off. it looks like mas tatagal nga kasi mas makapal yung kakapit sa paint. i'll try it soon...

suggest ko lang. bago mo try i-combine ang 2 brands, try mo muna ang same brands. removes a lot of guess works.

    Meg's UP + Meg's UW

    1. The curing process starts the moment you apply the layer.

    2. You don't need to immediately wipe down the wax after you lay it. In fact, I rotate on a 2-3 panel basis. The only body panel I wipe down after laying down a layer is the hood due to its area.

    3. The reason why the KSG is easier to remove is probably due to the morning dew that happens around the early mornings. Moisture softens up the wax and makes removing any PITA wax a breeze.

I urge people not to be so OA in their car's finish since you'll understand over time that you'll still have paint defects coming from minute rocks, gashes, scratches, etc. eventually over time.

Here's me whipping out a 3M Liquid Wax for use on the hood and trunk only.

Is my car's finish perfect? Far from it. I still need to clay that since it has 9-months worth of surface contaminants on the paint. Run your fingers on it and the surface is actually coarse. It's also not white as it was before and I need a cleaner. It's also 5-months without a protection layer. Thank god I'll get to finally use my Php2.5k Big Berts GCs (hurray no expiry) after my CASA repair next week. Two-step detail here I come!

Oh, don't worry, I'm not that patient yesterday so I just waxed those two panels only. Why these two? Because these are the parts that's critical. Doors? Nah..

P.S. "Famous" products are over-rated. I dunno why people won't pick up this bottle in ACE hardware when it's on sale. Hell, am I the only one who actually bought two of this?

Maybe overshadowed by other brands locally but 3M is a famous brand among body shops. They offer a complete line up of products from body repair to detailing, and even under-coating.

Microtex Car Duster (Large) ~P500 or less
Microtex Car Duster (Small) ~P200 or less

I have both but prefer to use the bigger duster. Mas nauna ko lang bilhin yung Small because I was not aware na meron palang Large.

Parang nakakangalay gamitin. Hahaha.

Okay lang naman ang bigat sa akin. Saglit lang gamitin, tapos agad ang dusting. Then spray and wipe ako ng QD.

Parang nakakangalay yung malaking duster. - Just me

May care instruction po yun nakalagay. Bawal linisin gamit ang tubig. Huwag babasain.

Parang Armor All yata to.

    Parang ganito sya:
