Search ka bro regarding AT (Automatic Transmission), may thread lang tayo dito last week or so... Pa-merge nalang siguro John...
Near impossibility po ang overhaul ng AT hehe... Same cost lang halos as getting a new one.
Based on your description, baka naman di pa malala yan... Change ka na ng ATF regardless, magkano lang naman yan, wala pang isang libo yan... Dalasan mo nalang palit para pati yung nasa torque converter mapalitan (kasi may mga 2-3 liters na ATF sa TC na di nadradrain, so paikutin mo nalang with the newer oil then eventually next change mo madadamay nadin yun. Hirap magpababa ng AT kasi)

Di ba yung CV joints ang sira ay may naririnig kang tok-tok-tok kapag lumiliko not kalabog as the thread starter initially stated?

usually pre mas malakas kadyot from P to R kasi may locking pin ang Park position... Pero pag N to R or N to D, dapat minimal lang talaga. Mas normal pa yung may parang very low hum (less than half a second) pag engage sa gear kesa THUG sound... dahil parang mechanical na yung noise na yun eh....
Pero.....
May slight chance din na baka tranny support mo lang ang may sala, kaya siguro kung di ka nakapreno, walang tunog dahil walang torque/twisting sa mounting ng tranny.

yup totoo yan....pero ayun kay sir kabuke0, pag from N, tapak silinyador, then D may tog, which is for me, kinda normal....pero from N to D then silinyador, wala tog....

another posibility is engine and tranny supports. patignan mo sa mekaniko. pwede din kasi may "thud" pag punit na ang supports.

ganito po yun:
galing d4 (broom!!!), tapak brake...hinto sa stop light...(tagal)....shift to N...release brake.....(uuuy...green na) tapak brake uli....shift from N to d4...release break...tapak silinyador...(thug!!)
