    i also have a problem with my A/T, every time na mag shift ako malakas yung tunog sa loob kaya kahit outside the vehicle alam mo na nagshi-shift yung driver. anyone knows what seems to be the problem? TIA

    sir, suggest ko mag b18c ka nalang+a/t...wag ka mag turbo sa honda mo, at baka mahirapan ang tranny mo, na ikakasira pa nun, ung sobra-sobra ang power ng makina, na di kayanin ng AT...kung may makukuha kang b16a or b18c w/ AT, ok na un(dahil match sila, importante to...)if manual sana, b18c+supercharger+nitrous=

    nga pala, most honda engines are designed for more HP, na proves its worth more on top speed, not on acceleration na kailangan natin sa city driving...kung gusto mo may sipa, palit ka ng high torque engines...

    sagot ko question mo by order,ha...

    1. and 2.: kasi sliding na tranny kasi ung clutch plates (plates un ha, kasi 1 clutch plate per gear) ay ubos or paubos na..kaya kapag binaba mo ung oil pan ng tranny mo, puro latak and un ang dumidikit sa magnets inside... kaya amoy sunog ang ATF kasi ung clutch palte, gear, at lahat ng internals ng AT ay nakababad sa ATF...so kaya amoy sunog siya....ang magandang tranny, ang langis ay amoy langis parin...ang torque converter pag inuna isalpak, pag takbo, madudurog ung gears nya sa loob, kasi di tama ung pagpasok,e! so di din gagana...

    3. shell dexron 3 cost 200+/liter, ung donax nila ay 90 lang...ung sa other forum na nagbebenta ng mobil, dun ako kumuha ng atf ko, kasi i need dexron2 spec, and napakasensitive ng AT ng imported na liteace(ect, medyo madami-daming sensors,e!), cost 180/L, castrol dexron3 cost 240-260/L, fully synthetics like motul or mobil 1 cost 600+/liter...brand comes second to specification...dapat tama ang spec then a established brand...kasi most locals are just refined used ATF, dami sa pandacan nyan, ung mga refinery dun...

    4. ATF should last 30-40 thou KMS....a premature na pag-amoy sunog may mean something...you dont like

    5.actually, tama nga si sir david, 100% maintained ATs last as long or even longer than a ordinary AT.

    6.bakit sugest ko un kasi ganito yan:
    6500+4000+2000(8L ATF,sealant,gaas,etc)=12500 yan lahat gastos ko, and 1/2 day of work.plus a 1 month warranty/replacement kung di tumino ung takbo....at since di pa baklas yan, do no tagas(except ung pan)

    overhaul: 2000(8L ATF,sealant,gaas,etc)+27,000(labor, rebuilding kit(since di ito locally available, ang gagawin is kukuha ng maayos na surplus, kakatayin, ipapalit ung clutchplates sa tranny ko, then asemble na nila ulit tranny ko-->now this is stupid, kakatayin tranny ko at matinong surplus para pagpalitin ang clutch plates???)=29000 plus 2-7 dayz down and up time, longer kung wala pang piyesa!

    see the difference pero kung bagong rebuliding kit, yes, it can go to the hundred thousand mark!

    not all surplus ay sira, mga siguro 5-10% lang...actually, maganda pa ung 90% na makikita mo..pero surplus na un, kaya clean the filter,pan and change oil kung gagawin yan para isang trabaho na at maigurado maayos yan...kaya advice ko, bring a dip-stick..

    nga pala, tungkol din dito may nagsabi sa aking mekaniko(ewan siguro tinatamad siya noong araw na yon:
    ang buong surplus na tranny kung sakaling may prob, pwede mo ibalik...e ung rebuilding kit, kung magkaprob, di mo na maibabalik....so saan ka?

    as far as i know, wala pa ako may alam na naka-force induction na may AT...pero siguro kung low-pressure ok lang palagyan, ung 1-2 psi lang na tuned for torque para magamit mo for everyday use..pati din headers/exhaust mo tuned for torque din...para balanced ung car mo...good torque,good HP...

    about sa matic, mostly kasi pag-AT stock lang ang pinapadala, unless pa-order ka ng special tranny,e....kaya mostly wala kang pagpipilian aside sa "freshness" ng tranny...just choose the most unspoiled a/t, and ok na lahat...

    Abundant ba un PH16 A/T tranny? Anu alternative kung wala?

    Un isang member ng HCP 'mommycar1995' ESi A/T naka turbo - samo't sari nasubukan na nya. Dyan ako nagka idea ng FI na A/T, sabi din sakin ni speedyfix bumigay un tranny nya.

    pang b16 hanapin mo..better kung may nakita kang galing sa b16a, basta ata b-series ng engine ng honda ok na un..

    ang prob kung palit ka ng a/t is ung connectors, sa much as possible dont splice, dapat direcho lang ang wiring, kasi sa labas yan and prone sa flood water kung sakali...kung no choice but to splice the wire, be sure to use ung heat-shrinking rubber insulator (aside sa electrical tape ha) sa connection point to prevent short circuit if ever rains come up thus producing flood...

    kaya for maximum cost, manual talaga kung gusto maximum performance..

    ask mo si sir speedy kung mayroong bang low-pressure turbo for your matic civic... or ganito, paconvert mo sa manual yan, pero you'll need a:

    clutch pedal/master assy., flywheel, pressureplate, release bearing, clutch plate... basta kunin mong m/t may LSD na para masaya...

    Sabi speedy pedal assy hirap hanapin and the rest it easy. Ang yaw ko kasi sa convert hassle of looking for things and anu gagawin ko sa matic parts ko, benta? baka lugi pako.

    yup, un nga ang prob ang parts...(kaya di nag-dadalawang isip ako for my liteace...pag nainis ako sa matic, maghahanap ako ang kumpletong 4wd MT, at ipapaconvert ko ito)

    ung sira ko ngang a/t di ko pa alam gagawin ko: kung ipapa-refurbish ko para may ready tranny na ako, or i-pakilo ko na sa junk shop at para magkapera na ako....
