Even worse, that Merville link increased the volume of cars in C5.

That's why the c5 link is a bs project.

It linked c5 to kaingin, but the latter is a chaotic road with potholes and free for all driving.

And worse, no link to skyway south nor north and slex north (and south). What's the logic???

First project ni Mark as DPWH Sec. Pakapalan ng mukha.

Wala sila gagawin to improved traffic eh dahil either traffic or not magbabayad pa rin talaga dumadaan.

Unlike EDSA.

Kasi yung current na dapat binabayaran mo for the designed "performance". (Ika nga as thank you na din for "bearing with the inconvenience")?

Yung dating toll fee almost nag increase 200% after construction. Malamang after construction me toll increase [emoji24][emoji24]

Monsi Quintana Jr. Almost 3 hours travel from Biñan, Laguna to our Alabang site, from my usual 30-40 minutes travel time. If this continues, I might consider living in our office.

Elvin Villanueva Well, at that time daily, traffic goes back kilometers if someone changes lanes. That’s how delicate SLEX is

Papunta kami ng NAIA 1 next Tuesday, saan mas maganda dumaan from Tanauan Batangas? Mag Carmona exit kaya ako tapos paliparan then daang hari ba yon?

Saan ba exit ng MCX pa north bound?

Plan a route taking the Skyway via Filinvest/Alabang South Drive. Avoid SLEX from Southwooods onwards. Goodluck bro! Add 3 hours for traffic.

if you want to avoid slex through alabang then carmona is your best route. from paliparan deretso lang molino rd., then left at molino blvd. deretso na lng yan papuntang coastal (cavitex) hwy, then sampa ka na ng naia expressway. pwede ka rin mag mcx via daang hari then kanan sa molino rd, pero baka bago ka mag exit sa mcx ay stuck ka na sa traffic.

I'm thinking it might be safer to use Cavitex straight out to Roxas Boulevard. A little vague on the route how to get to Emilio Aguinaldo Highway though but Waze/Google Maps will route it out for you.

I'm not sure if Skyway is a good bet given that those who still ply the same route of SLEX will most likely think the same and opt to divert to Alabang then straight to Skyway. But that's just me guessing.

    Good luck in your trip.

But if I may propose an alternative, stay the day before (overnight) at a budget hotel like Hop Inn or Red Planet near Macapagal Avenue, Pasay if you are coming in from Batangas anyway. So might as well maybe stay overnight from Monday to Tuesday? If that is a possibility, as that will ensure you don't miss your flight if it is an important flight. Then just grab to the airport, at least you won't be tired on the road trip given the current expected traffic conditions.

C6 is also not a good option as it is still narrow and mostly trucks ply it as it wraps around Laguna de bay's perimeter.

Waiting for someone who's stuck in traffic at SLEX. 2 hours plus and counting, he's still at Alabang. Said he left Westgrove at 8:30am. This is not good, ber-months already here. SLEX should find some sort of "solution" fast.

Just did a quick calculation -- at a distance of 35 kms from Sta. Rosa Laguna to Ayala Makati, and it's taking average 3 hours to travel via SLEX Skyway, it means one's average speed is 11.66 kph. That is just insane. And you pay what? Hundred of pesos for this "privilege". Sucks. TRB should really do something.
