AFAIK. bawat overpass at flyover meron speed radars. tapos may mga nakatagong spy vehicle sa mga gilid ng kalye na mag raradar. ingat ingat na lang po.

Just came back from SLEX (Sta Rosa-Manila).

The only full positive 5-bar RADAR hit I got was at the SLEX - North bouth side - SHELL Station located soon after Mamplasan/LIIP Exit.

Note: I did not take the skyway.

I don't think so.

But my last radar-detector run along NLEX was last year. And I only got a single 5-bar positive radar hit on the NLEX - south bound on the last few kilometers before approaching the toll booths (was it Tabang or Marilao exit?)

Maybe I should do another NLEX/SCTEX radar sweep on one of these weekends just for fun. hehe

That's pretty strange. I always hit around 120 in that area, and haven't been accosted. But then... 120 is just about even with "the flow" of traffic.

Any idea where the radar vehicle was hiding?

120kph is still under threshold speed because you can still argue that speedometer was not calibrated right.

There was a reddish colored Corona EX which blew by that section probably going 160/170 kph. I tried to keep pace so I could check if he gets caught at the toll booth but he was simply driving too recklessly to justify my actions/reasons to give chase.

Right at the Shell Station. So it's either a fixed installation or a parked vehicle hiding in plain sight among others there.

I am thinking that 1-bar beep I got SLEX southbound on the same area might be a radar reflection signal since it was weak.

The Valentine1 detector has "side" indicator as well as detector/indicators if the source is behind. Handy to narrow down where the radars are located.
